It seems that way. Corporations are models for competition.

I've known successful people who were highly competitive, colossally competitive, extraordinarily competitive, excessively competitive, extremely competitive, gigantically competitive, immensely competitive, tremendously competitive, cocksure competitive, audaciously competitive and successful people who weren't.

For example, the moderately competitive, the middling competitive, the so-so competitive, the cautiously competitive, the indifferently competitive, the only piddling competitive, the just a little bit competitive, the just a touch competitive, and the not at all competitive.

I DARE ANYONE TO BEAT ME IN LISTING ALL THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF COMPETITIVE THERE ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Side: No

Of course not. I can succeed in many ways without being at all competitive. As the initial question doesn't actually define what area the success is in, the answer is an automatic no. If I attempt to stand up and do so without falling over, I have succeeded without competing at all.

Side: No

People can succeed in many things. It depends on what you want to do in order to figure how competitive you must be. A person that wants to go to a really good university would have to be competitive in order to get in.
