Pd 8: Benvolio is innocent because all he wanted to do was to help Romeo feel better about his love life. For example, when Benvolio helped Romeo through his breakup he states, "I'll show you how to forget, or else I'll die owing you that lesson" (I.i.27). This quote shows that Benvolio wanted to help Romeo because he wanted to fix his broken heart and would die trying. Side: FRIENDS INNOCENT

Pd 8: Tybalt ia innocent because Romeo killed Tybalt in revenge of Tybalt killing Mercutio. For example, when Romeo states, "Mercutio's soul is floating right above our heads . He's waiting for you to keep him company on the way up to Heaven..." (III.i.149). Therefore, Romeo is clearly stating that since Tybalt killed Mercutio, then Romeo believes Tybalt will join Mercutio on his way to Heaven. This shows that he is innocent for the death of Romeo because Romeo killed him first and he was not alive to influence the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Side: FRIENDS INNOCENT

Some might say that Tybalt is innocent because he was not alive for the death of Romeo but, if it wasn't for Tybalt, Romeo wouldn't have been banned. This is because if Romeo hadn't been banned, he would have stayed in Verona with Juliet. Tybalt is the reason that Romeo followed through with his death. Side: FRIENDS INNOCENT

Pd 7: Benvolio is guilty becaue Benvolio told Romeo to go to the party and forget about Rosealine. For example, when Benvolio said, "Do it by letting your eyes wander freely, look at other beautiful girls" (I.i.27). Benvolio is guilty because he forced Romeo to go to the party and meet someone new. If he didn't, he would have never met Juliet which led to his death. Side: FRIENDS GUILTY
Pd 2: Tybalt is guilty because without Tybalt Romeo wouldn’t have been banned. For example, when Prince states, “and for that crime Romeo is hereby exiled from Verona” (III.i.153). Tybalt is guilty because the whole fight between him and Romeo started because table killed Mercutio. Romeo then stood up for my cushy his honor, killing Tybalt. When Prince found out, he banned Romeo. The banning of Romeo is what led to Juliet and Romeo having to find a way to be together resulting in the death of Romeo. Therefore, if Romeo never killed Mercutio in the fight, Romeo wouldn’t have died. Side: FRIENDS GUILTY
some might say that Tybalt is guilty because without Tybalt Romeo wouldn't have been banned but, Tybalt is innocent because Romeo would still be living in Verona if it wasn't for Tybalt killing Mercutio and Romeo acting out of revenge to kill Tybalt. Therefore Tybalt did not know that Romeo would be banned for Romeo killing him and also Tybalt didn't know that it would end to Romeo being dead in the end. Side: FRIENDS INNOCENT
