I think Yes Mr.Witter should take paternity leave because yes he is a cool teacher he is the best one in the world and he is going to be a dad again and what I think and believe is that he needs to be there for his son he still be there for us next year but his son is more important right now in this moment and as kids we understand that and one more thing i like to add he is probably watching us right now. :) Side: Yes

I think that he should take paternity leave because a baby needs all the attention right now that his little. His students I'm sure that they will understand. I wouldn't mind if he didn't come back the rest of the year because his thought us a lot of things that we didn't know. Is like we are paying him back for that. I think that he should stay with his baby and give him all the love he can. Side: Yes

I think men should take paternity leave. Because their job might not be as important as their spouses or they can work out a schedule better then their spouses. There is nothing wrong with them taking the leave. There just being a good parent. And it shows they care about their child. Side: Yes

Well, I am a woman so I get maternity leave (if that ever happens), however at AOL they give 2 weeks paternity leave. My old manager is currently out with his new baby as I speak(type?). I think men should take advantage if it's offered. Having a newborn must be a challenge and I think if I just gave birth I would like to have someone around to help with the kiddo. Side: Yes

I think it is totally fair for men to take paternity leave. It can be very stressful for a women to take care of a baby alone while the husband is away and it allows time for bonds with the father and the child to develop. so if i had the choice i would take a paternity leave. Side: Yes
Of course I would take paternity leave. My wife could take off with the child and then I could take off after her so the child could stay out of day care as long as possible. I don’t think very many people are really going to say no to getting paid for not being at work. However there may be some people who do not use paternity leave in the most responsible way. Side: Yes
This is the third time in 4 years that I have taken paternity leave. I have taken 6 weeks off, but the only reason I got paid was because I had worked for 10 years without taking more than 2 days off. If I had had the days, I still could have taken the time off, but I would not have been paid. The district still has to pay for a sub in my absence, so what is in it for them? 1) Loyalty. I would hesitate before moving to another district. 2) Develop Professionalism. By treating me like the professional I am, and not just an employee who punches a clock, they foster an environment of professionalism. My performance improves. 3) Truth in Advertising. Many businesses say children and families are important. I don't think every business has to say that, but if they say it they should back it up with actions. What reasons did I miss? Side: No

If I had a chance, i would totally leave, because my job isn't more important than my kid. Even that would be hard for the family, i would totally support my partner, and i would try to figure one or other way to suppor our kid. But yes i would live, so i can be a little bit more with my baby. Side: Yes
