Nature vs. Nurture
Are we who we are because of our genetics, or our environment? If both, choose what you believe to be a greater influence and argue that side.

It truly is both. We are completely dependent on our genetics for some aspects of ourselves (appearance, for example) and almost completely dependent on our gestation and upbringing for others (personality, for example). But you said to choose one, so I choose genetics and nature. This is because we are all genetically unique. No two people have exactly the same genes. Also, people can be raised so similarly that they are almost the same nurture-wise. Therefore, I believe nature has more of an impact on who we are. Side: Nature

Well, it's both. nothing is determined only by one (except for physical appearance). Personally, though, after seeing how drastically people can change after psychology or events, i can see that personality is MORE effected by nurture. sexual attraction (blonds, brunettes, gay, straight) is almost impossible to change after a certain age though. so that would be closer to nature only because sensitive brains are more likely to go one way from just a slight nudge, and then it's really hard to make it go the other way.
