We do not need school uniforms because poor people cant afford to buy uniforms for sending their children to schools.now uniforms are getting even more expensive and it will be only provided from schools,we cant go out and buy uniforms in less prices.but it is easy for rich people, they will have money to buy the uniforms........so i agree on the topic "School uniforms should not be made compulsory".

Well, I think it totally depends on the students coming to school . If all are rich and can afford to have proper clothes , then maybe they shouldn't be compulsory . But if some students are poor and some moderately rich then perhaps they should be made compulsory . This is because poor students won't be able to dress up properly and they may get a feeling of inferiority. I don't think it will help in creating a healthy atmosphere.

I think students should have school uniform as it make discrimination between rich and poor. poor cannot effort uniforms but rich can .people think we should not send our childer en to school as they cannot effort the uniforms. so i would say we should not have school uniforms

Almost in every school children have to wear a uniform. The question is should uniforms at schools be made compulsory? Do we need it? I guess that it should be mandatory part of education at schools. First of all, imagine that there are lots of children from different families with different opportunities and status. There can be rich ones or , on the contrary, not enough affordable ones. Uniform can make them look equal. Then, having school uniforms can make it easier for authorities to identify- those who aren't supposed to be within the school premises. The last argument for having uniform at schools is saving money on for families. Do you agree that it is more beneficial, as children have a set of uniform to wear. I think children supposed to wear uniform. It doesn't lead to nothing bad, so you can easily understand that I said above are benefits of uniform. It is for saving money, social status and for school safety by identifying school's students.

RICH AND POOR DIFFERENCE.

even if they wear the same uniforms, how about the school bag, stationaries, and others? if you are rich, you will buy a more expansive one compared to the poorer one, so, there are still big difference here, even if they wear the same thing to school. so even if there is school uniform, there will be difference. so it doesn't make them look equal.

EASY TO IDENTIFY WHO AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE WITHIN THE SCHOOL.

it is true to a certain point. but, how about the teachers, teachers do not have to wear school uniforms and that means that other people can come in by car saying that they are the school teachers. and how about cleaners and maintenance staff? they do not have to wear uniforms, and the outsiders can act as if they are the cleaners and sneak into the school and do bad things. and if the main teacher gets sick, there are relief teachers around, where they are not so familiar with the school, so even if strangers come in, not knowing where to go, the students will not be surprised, they will just kindly tell that person where to go instead of suspecting the person as a stranger. so if they want to make sure no outsiders will enter the school, they should make EVERYONE wear uniforms instead of just students.BUT, even if they wear uniforms, people can buy second hand uniforms outside that school and can act as a students and sneak in. so there is no reason that school uniforms should be made compulsory.

SAVES MONEY FOR THE FAMILY

no. nowadays, uniforms are getting expansive because only a limited number of uniforms are produced and is made specially just for that school. so even a t-shirt and jeans are much more cheaper than uniforms. and moreover, its not like a child will only wear one same uniforms for few years, so the parents have to buy more than one set of uniforms, and moreover, other than uniforms, there are physical exercise uniforms, and they have to buy again. if they can just buy one t-shirt and jeans, they will spend less that they have to spend on uniforms. so, school uniforms do not save money.

SO I THINK THAT SCHOOL UNIFORMS SHOULD NOT BE MADE COMPULSORY.

School uniforms create just that in a school - uniformity. It demonstrates that the pupils who attend are one in the same and are part of that community, especially at a time when young minds can be so sensitive and impressionable. They have enough insecurities about their bodies without having to worry about all of the trappings!
