This might sound extreme, but yes it would certainly help. Get rid of the economy, and simply have Jeff who makes bread. Greg has an apple orchard. Jeff wants some apples, so Greg gives him some apples in return for some bread. e.t.c. No money. This would be a great world. No more " i'm going to be evicted because i can'y afford..." or anything else!
Yes people should lose their jobs because endangered species must be our first priority. It´s unfortunate when people lose their jobs but when animal species become extinct, that is worse

With a high demand for green technology and services, there's actually a lot of money in saving the environment. this is great for people who wish to make a profit. Taking away jobs is a terrible idea for w/e reason you believe it may save the environment. Allow the consumers to decide who can stay in business and who won't.
But green technology creates jobs as more people want them. That's how economics works.
People shouldn't lose their jobs to help save the environment because if they don't have no money then they won't be able to pay there bills and take care of the family.
