Challenge Debate: Should music and art classes be cut to make time for math and science?

All around the world, music and art courses are being removed from the curriculum to make more time for more "important" subjects such as math and science. Is this a good thing?

No we should NOT cut Music and Art. Speaking from experience, teens go through a lot of stress, anxiety, and depression. In most cases Music and/or Art are therapeutic for these kids. If anything maybe make the classes optional or shorten them. But you cant just completely cut something out of a kids life, if it might help him/her.
