in my opinion end is more important because without a goal you can never succeed in your life

This is very obvious!

Even while debating, we say, you are wrong and then we say how we can prove it!

You see, you first give idea or result of your analysis and then you give the means through which you reached to this conclusion!

After all, we have a famous proverb: Where there is a will, there is a way!

If you think of your goal and have the will power to reach it at any cost, you automatically get your path for your desired destination!

Both are important.

Having a goal is definitely needed to achieve something, but how you get there is not irrelevant. How you determine what goals you will have is important.

The question is raised in my mind: If the end is more important than the means, what is it more important for? If results are most important, is there any value in worrying about the means?

I do not think the end justifies the means.

Side: Both are important

I don't believe the end is unimportant but I do believe the road you travel to reach your goal is. I don't like it when people trample upon the rights of others to reach their ends and that's why it's important for the means to be a clean effort to the end.

Bull Freaking Shit! The end does not justify the means. Not EVER. There are always ways to justify the means, but the end is not one of them, just like there are always alternate means to reach the end. So no, the end is not more important than the means (Oh! And it is "than", not "then"), because if you reach the end with nothing because you lost everything due to the means, then what have you accomplished? Pretty much nothing if you ask me. (;
