I think that what one does for a living influences life profoundly. If one doesn't care about what one does professionally I have a hard time imagining that he would be just as happy if he loved what he did for a living. Whether a musical education should alter one's personality significantly I wouldn't know, but there's a whole lot of stereotyping about people who do different kinds of work. A primary school teacher is an average joe, a theoretical physicist is a 'nerd'. Who is to say that such prejudice is not half-true? Anyway it's hard to decide if it's having such a job that turns you into a nerd, or if being a nerd makes you more likely to choose such a job. I think what one picks to have as job says a lot about the people, but I also believe it's true that working daily with some topic is very likely to influence the way you behave, even when you are not working... So yeah, being a professional musician is properly going to promote the side of you that already cares about musicianship.

I believe that being gifted in arts means being unique. These people are actually can "see unusual in usual and usual in unusual". They have different way of thinking because they feel soul of every object and subject. They think deeper and look farther. They are creative, that is why they are different

it sounds great!) and it close to my point of view. I really believe that it is true. But the main point is that musician should be perfect, professional and fan of his/her case! if quality of performance is bad and attitude to music is neutral and indifferent....it doesn't work!

You have closely joined with art! You know the sense of gorgeous and what a hard work it indicates. Nobody knows that for this, you should spend hours of playing music...

Yes!you have had a great influence from music)))

You have your own point of view which much diverse from others))

Most people want to be an usual and boring as robots))) Who knows may be they afraid of being different....

i support your opinion. i am ex-musician and my internal world was changed by music in better side. In compare with friends i feel myself different from them!

I have a question. Are you an ex-violinist or an ex professional violinist? Which is to say we're you professional and now aren't. Or do you just no longer play the violin at all. If the latter is the case, I'd say you are a non-practicing violinist. Which would be a shame, providing you enjoyed playing. I think wasting musical talent is sad.

i played the violin 12 years.so i can say that i am professional musician. the main problem of being musician is to be perfect, very talanted because there is huge competition. i had good success, i won many competitions. but it is not enough. you should go abroad to get better education.unfortunately our country has not perfect level of music education and study abroad for me was very-very expensive. but waist my time, work hard for nothing and then earn little money was not good perspective.so,i changed direction of my education. i still playing the violin.but it is not deal of all my life yet.

I think that musical education influence person's individuality. First of all musicians are hard workers. They practice approximately 4 hours a day or even more, while other lead a normal life. They develop a willpower and perseverance. Also due to playing musical instrument they activate a creative thinking and increase the activity of the right hemisphere of the brain and balance the wok of both hemispheres.More over by playing musical instruments they activate a creative thinking. So if to compare musician with a simple person they are more perseverance have a willpower and think more creative.

I think that professional music education influence person's individuality and personality! People who study music as th main subject, they are very positive, kind, generous and beautiful people not only outside and inside too. Music is a magic thing which makes people love each other, be friendly with each other and live together. Every person has its own preferences in music. All people are different and the music is so. If one person loves one kind of music and meets another person who listen to it too, they become closer, even if they don't know each other. Music pulls together people of different nationality, race, knowing language and culture. If there is no music in our life, it will be difficult to live. If are happy or tired or sad, we turn on our favourite music and we are carried away. And what about people who are fond of violin. This tool is little, beautiful and people who are violonists so they are. They are nice, graceful, vulnerable, good-mannered and have thin, melodious soul. This girl has studied the art of violin almost 12 years. I think that it is very big term and for this time, she has studied everything about this tool and music which is done by violin. For example, i love music of violinsts. The most of violinsts do the soundtrack for films, serials. There are a lot of famous violinsts all over the world and in our country too. They are: Vanessa May, Lana, Zhamilya Serkebayeva and others. I agree with you that music make people differ from others! When we want to express our feelings, we use music. Music can make us to feel ourselves happy or sad. There are a lot of people who can't speak, can't see, can't move. Such people can't express what they want to say and they use music, for example, if they can't say that something gorgeous has happened on their life, they just smile and turn on music and they don't need anything else. It';s enough for them. Sometimes it is enough for music and you. Everyone loves music and listens to it, but not everyone can be a musician. For being a musician, you can't only play on the instrument and have a brilliant voice, you have to feel your music, feel with all fibers of your soul. Music is not commerce. But nowadays people and a lot of singers don't understand it. They just sing a silly song and get a lot of money from it. They find benefit from music. They write silly, dumb songs, which don't have a meaning. And what is more sad that people listen to this music and enjoy it. Nowadays, there is no and will never be the second Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson, John Lennon, Kurt Cobein, Jimmie Hendrix, Bob Marley, Jennis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Ray Charles or other blessed by God musicians. And people begin to forget their music. I don't want to name musicians who don't deserve the name - MUSICIAN, because i may insult someone who likes this person, as i have mentioned before, everyone has its own preference. Many years ago people who were fond of music, they did their music, they didn't praised by it, in those days it was difficult to be a musician, people made the way to glory very very hard and long. They became famous not in 15 and with the help of their rich fathers or mothers of producers (who helped them, you understand why and how). Those days, musicians did their music because they like do it, they did it for their fans, for their soul. Now like in our days, they do music only for getting money, for spending such money on gilrs\boys, clubs, drugs, alcohol, hotels and other vile things. The most of such unforgettable musiciand like Ludvig van Beethowen or Johann Sebastian Bach have died in poverty, in obscurity, but nowadays their music is immortal. Our parents, grandparents knew about them and our children and children of our children will know about them. Because their music is pure. Can you say that all of today's musicians whose music will be eternal like their, whose music will live in our mind, in our hearts, in our souls? I can't say so. Some of them deserve such recognition. And we can count them on fingers. Nowadays, there is no music, there is only boasting, advertizing and dirty money. It is unfair that really talanted musucians are singing in their home's oubs on little audicience and get a little money, on which they can hardly ever support themselves or their family and non-talented people, who can only open their mouths on phonograms gather big crowds on the stadiums and get a lot of money. I can write about song very long, but i think that you are tired to read it and i am coming to conclusion. At the end of my comment (it seems like not comment, but essay) i want to say that music is one of the best things which have created God, and those people who do music are people who make our life more interesting, more colourful and better. And i want to say big THANKS to such kind of people, without music people would be illeterate, rough and boring. And, you, girl, who has studied violin 12 years, you have to be proud of yourself that you have spent such a big quantity of time on this hard and good thing and happy, that you are a little closer to God and if you like music if you can't imagine your life without music, don't listen to others, just go ahead with violin and live with it. And maybe some years later, i will be sitting with my husband at home, he will make me a romantic dinner and when it will be the time of dance with romantic music, he will turn on the tape recorder and we will listen to your beautiful music which will make me fell happy))))))) I wish you good luck!!!!! And hope that your way on glory Olympus will be easy but fair!

The best wishes, Guzal!

i think so because music very much influences the person. What type of music the person like and listen such becomes also the person. And especially professional!
