should we repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell?
DADT is an a policy that restricts gays and lesbians from serving in any branch of the military. Republicans argue that homosexuals have a negative effect on morals in the U.S. army. Democrats argue that the policy is unfair and discriminates against the rights of citizens. What do you think?

There is no legitimate reason that homosexuals should be discriminated against in the military. Besides the simple fact that it can ruin careers arbitrarily and set a group as inferior in the eyes of the state, something that is very unwise when those people are dying for their country; it also ignores the fact that when men are abroad for years they will seek a sexual outlet whether it is a woman or in some cases another man. These kinds of laws may cause soldiers to have sexual repression when an open policy would eliminate this problem and our soldiers should have a better frame of mind. Side: yes
