You confuse greatness with deviousness......................................

I don't see how anyone with common sense could say Hitler was a great leader. He led his country to destruction.

A great leader is one who leaves his country better than he found it. Germany was considerably worse off at the time of Hitlers demise, than when he came to power.

Only those with a jaundiced view of history could possibly think Adolph Hitler was a great leader.

The Psychopaths that called themselves Nazis, destroyed Germany. If not for the Marshall Plan, Germany would look like Bulgaria and Romania, and Americans would not have to tolerate the drivel of Neo-psychopaths, extolling the virtues of the Freaks they use as roll-models

There are many animals that are more dangerous than man. They just lack the numbers to be as great of a threat as man is.

Sure. Maybe you could also issue cots to be set up in the gym once a week, say, for casual Fridays.

Jambavan is the anti-Krishna. According to what I've been told, He is a shape-shifter and It is rumored, that he often appears in the likeness of a creepy king.

There is no longer a North and South Vietnam. There is only Vietnam.

Geography 101.

No, I don't think Wilson was responsible for WW2. While "The Treaty of Versailles"

is used by many as a reason for the 2nd war, to justify poor innocent Germany's behavior. That reasoning fails on many levels.

The worst blunder Wilson made was signing the law establishing The Federal Reserve, which could justifiably be labeled an act of Treason.

I think anyone can be a moron. You certainly have proven that you have the capacity. .

No. People will always ignore laws that they finds inconvenient.

The only way such a law would work is for "Stoning" be the penalty, as that would eliminate the possibility of repeat offenders.

If there is it is perpetrated by Hamas against it's own people as well as Israel.

When those engaged in fighting use the population to shield themselves from an enemy and fire rockets indiscriminately into cities, that's close to the threshold of a crimes against humanity.

Israel dose attempt to target only enemy fighters. This can be seen in fact that they have the capacity to utterly destroy Gaza and remove the problem. Yet they exercise restraint. The charge that Israel is guilty of war crimes is ludicrous.

Yes, it was ideologically the right thing to do. Did we go about it correctly, with the ultimate motive being "the best interest of the Vietnamese people" ? No.

Vietnam became a political pawn in the corrupt world of geopolitics.

The Korean war and it's results, that can be easily observed by looking at the two Korea's, is an example of what might have been, but alas, never was.

"Torture and Guantanamo go a long way toward fueling the crazy hatred" is an wonderfully idealistic yet erroneous view of the reality. It supposes that you are dealing with rational people. That's where it looses sight of the facts. Their hatred is Religious in nature. Their culture only respects strength. That can witnessed in their actions, long before the first one was tortured.

They will stop only when they fear the results of not stopping, or they win. If we fail to come to terms with that, we delude ourselves.

The very idea of governments wielding that type of decision making is repugnant to any free thinking human being on the planet.

Yes!..............................................................................................................

It is fair, if everyone in the class has the same requirements. But, it's really not a matter of fair or unfair. It's more a matter of the benefit it achieves. Anything that keeps children from sitting in front of a TV for 3 to 4 hours a day is a good thing.

To have a public debate "About" a living person would create the potential for a legal liability, that would stifle the debate.

Crazy. Ozzy turned a mental disorder into an art forum. He has never been a "Singer".

Of course. If all morality is relative, it just depends on a majority to sanction it.

To some it may sound barbaric , but "Rules of war" is an oxymoron. The world got together at Geneva, and wrote out some "Rules of War". That sounds so enlightened and so Humane. And, in a world where everyone lives up to their agreements, it is "enlightened". However, that's not the world we live in. Since signing the Geneva Agreement, we have never fought an enemy that adhered to the rules.

When we engage an enemy, that "Cut off the heads" of our soldiers, it time to put down the rule book for a bit and stop the evil. Water-boarding is a Mind Game, with a little water thrown in. It may be frightening, but it dose no real harm. and it gets their attention. Water-boarding is very humane way to deal with an enemy, who happen to be Psychopaths.

While the UN has shown it's marvelous ability as "peace-keepers" in Rwanda and the Balkans, it is necessary to maintain our membership. If for no other reason than, to exercise our veto power as a means of preventing the "Tin pot Dictators" from absolutely taking control of a world stage that can, and to some degree dose, shape the world's perception of reality. To use a well worn phrase, " It is a Necessary Evil".
