When Jesus said, “Before Abraham was, I AM,” he was claiming to be God. His language echoes that time when God revealed himself to Moses in the burning bush (Exodus 3:14). God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” The Septuagint translates this as “I Am the Being,” and Jesus’s statement here confirms this teaching. At the very end of the Bible, in Revelation, John says-
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Rev. 1:8)
Matthew 2:11: And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him.
Matthew 14:33: And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
Matthew 28:9-10: And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him.
Matthew 28:16-17: Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted.
Luke 24:51: While he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven. 52 And they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy
John 9:37-38: Jesus said to him, “You have seen him, and it is he who is speaking to you.” 38 He said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.
Hebrews 1:6: And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”
Revelation 22:3: No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.
Thank you, brother. I agree. I just wanted to address the main question, I hear from Muslims.............................................................................................
I am going to create a man and a woman with "original sin". Then I'm going to impregnate the woman with myself as her child so that I can be born. Once alive, I will allow myself to be killed … as a sacrifice to myself to save you from the "sin" I originally condemned you to …….
I have nothing against a persons needing something to believe in, nothing at all. Somebody said Jesus said that "I am God". There is NO proof that can't be attributed to hearsay, no proof at all. Just a book written about three centuries after the "facts".
Let's see …. Trump has twisted the "facts" 10,000 times in less than 3 years. (Proven) I wonder how many times they got twisted in 300 years?? Some even believe Trump even after he's been proven wrong …. I guess that's how they can believe the Bible (or Koran, etc.) when they have never been proven right.
This debate is about where Jesus said "I AM God, worship Me." please stay on topic. I am willing to create a debate where you can discuss these things, so we can debate them. Public or private, it's your choice. Happy debating, and I respect YOU darlin' for being willing to debate with me, anything you so desire. :) <3
I do think I am on topic. NOBODY "KNOWS" Jesus said anything. All Christians have is a book cobbled together by an Emperor out of somewhat unreadable tablets and crispy papyrus leaves (an goat herder fireside stories), about 300 years AFTER all this was supposed to be "said" or happened. Even the "Trilogy", I've read, was not "In Vogue" until the third century when a Monk, I forget his name, came up with the "idea". After being "translated" (an imperfect operation, at best) from several ancient languages to Koine Greek by rather devout believers, who, I'm sure, had to "fill in the blanks" with whatever they believed "must" have been said or happened.
Then, there's the info that the Nativity Story was made up in, I believe it was the 6th century, by St. Francis of Assisi,as "a way" to explain the birth of Jesus to his "flock". Then there's the Ark, impossible to believe, and Jonah and the whale (whales can't swallow a man, they eat plankton).
This "Bible" (the name means "little library" in one of those ancient languages), was handwritten, and re-translated, copied by hand several times before being "printed" several centuries later. So, what did Jesus say?? Whatever it was, if it was, it's hearsay. I left formal education in the early 60's. I've learned a lot since then, but, I've forgotten a lot that I learned earlier, guess we all do after over 60 years. Still, I have to have enough "believable fact" to accept something.
I respect your belief, I just can't find enough believable fact to join you in it. You have a nice day.

The nativity scene is mentioned in all 4 gospels, all written in the first century AD, according to historians.
Then there's the Ark, impossible to believe
It's an allegorical story referencing the end of the world. Jesus referenced it as such as well in Matthew 24:37.
and Jonah and the whale (whales can't swallow a man, they eat plankton).
1)A whale can and has swallowed a man in your lifetime.
It's an allegorical story referencing the end of the world
Ahahahaha! You're INSANE. Everything which historians agree actually happened you flaunt, everything they agree didn't happen you claim is an allegory. Fuck off.
The Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit, and written by men from all walks of life over several millennia. How can it not be God's word? I have no reason to be mean to anyone, just saying what I believe, and why.
Christianity is theologically incoherent and I would much rather be a Jew or Muslim if I was one of the three. This is because they are truly monotheistic and somewhat coherent as far as theology goes but Christianity is just nonsense. It is basically trying it's ass off to be a monotheistic religion but has an insane paradox at play wherein Jesus is both God, God's son and a human at the same time. If I believed in God, I would still find it extremely difficult to believe in Jesus and would see it as a form of idol-worship in a sense to worship a half man half God and consider it the same being as God while also being something distinct. Christianity is essentially founded on Orwellian doublethink in that regard.
I used to be a Muslim so I technically "believed in Jesus" but not in the sense that he is god or god's son. Muslims believe he was a prophet and Jews believe he was a false Messiah, either of which makes more sense than christian beliefs about him.
Paul Joseph Goebbels (German: [ˈpaʊ̯l ˈjoːzɛf ˈɡœbl̩s] (About this soundlisten);[1] 29 October 1897 – 1 May 1945) was a German Nazi politician and Reich Minister of Propaganda of Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945.
Goebells oversaw the German paper "The Nationaler Sozialist"
Like their other publications, it conveyed a brand of Nazism, including Nationali Socialism, anti-capitalism, social reform, and anti-Westernism.
Hitler often vacillated on whether or not the Kirchenkampf (church struggle) should be a priority, but his frequent inflammatory comments on the issue were enough to convince Goebbels to intensify his work on the issue;[153] in February 1937 he stated he wanted to eliminate the Protestant church.
In response to the persecution, Pope Pius XI had the "Mit brennender Sorge" ("With Burning Concern") Encyclical smuggled into Germany for Passion Sunday 1937 and read from every pulpit. It denounced the systematic hostility of the regime toward the church.[155][156] In response, Goebbels renewed the regime's crackdown and propaganda against Catholics.
Goebbels began to study the "social question" and read the works of Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Rosa Luxemburg, August Bebel and Gustav Noske.
Now let's look at these characters Goebells was obsessed with-
Rosa Luxemburg (German: [ˈʁoːza ˈlʊksəmbʊʁk] (About this soundlisten); Polish: Róża Luksemburg; also Rozalia Luxenburg; 5 March 1871 – 15 January 1919) was a Polish Marxist theorist, philosopher, economist, anti-war activist and revolutionary socialist who became a naturalized German citizen at the age of 28.
Ferdinand August Bebel (22 February 1840 – 13 August 1913) was a German socialist politician, writer, and orator. He is best remembered as one of the founders of the Social Democratic Workers' Party of Germany (SDAP) in 1869, which in 1875 merged with the General German Workers' Association into the Socialist Workers' Party of Germany (SAPD). During the repression under the terms of the Anti-Socialist Laws, Bebel became the leading figure of the social democratic movement in Germany and from 1892 until his death served as chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Germany.
Gustav Noske (9 July 1868 – 30 November 1946) was a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). He served as the first Minister of Defence (Reichswehrminister) of the Weimar Republic between 1919 and 1920.
Friedrich Engels (/ˈɛŋ(ɡ)əlz/;[2][3] German: [ˈfʁiːdʁɪç ˈʔɛŋl̩s]; sometimes anglicised Frederick Engels; 28 November 1820 – 5 August 1895) was a German philosopher, communist, social scientist, journalist and businessman.[4] His father was an owner of large textile factories in Salford, England and in Barmen, Prussia (what is now in Wuppertal, Germany).
Born in Trier, Germany, Marx studied law and philosophy at university. He married Jenny von Westphalen in 1843. Due to his political publications, Marx became stateless and lived in exile with his wife and children in London for decades, where he continued to develop his thought in collaboration with German thinker Friedrich Engels and publish his writings, researching in the reading room of the British Museum. His best-known titles are the 1848 pamphlet, The Communist Manifesto, and the three-volume Das Kapital. His political and philosophical thought had enormous influence on subsequent intellectual, economic and political history and his name has been used as an adjective, a noun and a school of social theory.
