Cows do not "create" any necessary nutrients. Not a single one. This is 100% fact. Cows get their nutrients from vegetable sources (plant matter), misinformed people eat cows and absorb second-hand nutrients. Along with prostate cancer, etc...

I'm 40 years old & vegetarian. Most people guess my age at 30.

I've been a vegetarian for 14 years & I'm 40. I win at arm wrestling against the majority of people, whether in their 30s or 20s. I beat most people half my age. I spend the majority of my time sitting in front of a computer. I do not ever "work out" my arms. When I was 21 years old (& "carniverous") I weighed 153lbs. I am (& was) 6'2".

I saw and see what happens every day when I don't eat meat. I've been in 7 bike tours, ridden over 100 miles in a day, hiked 10 miles with 8,000ft elevation gain within 7 hours, twice. Went to the gym several years ago & averaged over 1.5lbs of muscle gain every week, increasing the weight by 1/4lb or more on most exercises -every time- I went to the gym. Most American meat eaters eat about 3-5 times more meat than their body can assimilate the protein from. Protein is amino acids. There are plenty of plants with sufficient levels of amino acids. Want -complete- protein? Eat quinoa. Or a bowl of beans or lentils & rice. Need Iron? Eat spinach. It's loaded with Iron. Oats, raisins, blackstrap molasses, edamame, pumpkin seeds, lentils and various other legumes are also all excellent sources of iron. There are also plenty of vegetable sources for necessary amounts of calcium, as with -all- essential nutrients. Also, anyone who thinks it is "manly" to eat meat should probably be living in a cave. They might feel more at home.
