A straw is not an endless loop because it's purpose is to get your drink from your cup to your mouth. If you bend the straw to an endless loop it does not fulfill a purpose of a straw and to make this endless loop your connecting 2 ends, 2 holes.;)

There shouldn't be partitioned areas in public places because we shouldn't be smoking in the first place. If smokers are able to smoke in public places your just encouraging people to smoke.
