I'm a fairly attractive young woman, and I am constantly slapped in the face with guys trying to pursue me when I thought we were platonic. Not only is it tiresome to have to turn down a guy who I have zero interest in, but it's also not attractive to me at all when a guy seems desperate to be with me. I'd much rather a guy make his attraction to me evident, but then make me work to show you why you want to be with me. Which, I'm awesome, so it shouldn't take too long either ;)
But... it's so much fun!
Really though, I like how you are automatically assuming that anyone who isn't religious is either a dead-beat parent, a drug addict, an alcoholic, addicted to cigarettes, or broke beyond belief. How incredibly judgmental and NON-CHRISTIAN like of you.
I thought Christians were supposed to be nonjudgmental?
I know a lot of people who don't follow any Religion, and they're happy, successful people.
I also know a lot of Christians that are the most addicted people I know.
Go talk to some people that you wouldn't normally, and please educate yourself with real people.
No, I don't care about the commercials with dogs, I really don't. I honestly don't care if they air abortion commercials either, for or against. I'd prefer if not, simply because the absolute shit storm that will follow. Honestly though, it doesn't matter to me.
I would like to point out that I was answering the debate about commercials, you chose to try to make this an immature argument about our personal beliefs.
Also, I don't associate myself with political sides. Yes, I have my opinions on major issues, but I honestly could care less about the politics. Throwing around labels doesn't really unnerve me any.
I'm sorry, did I give my opinion on animal abuse or abortions? No. Because that's not what this was about, it's about commercials on them. And I explained why I believe one is aired, and not the other.
But yes, I don't want abortion commercials for either side.
And yes, I'm pro-choice.
There is too much controversy over something like abortions to make a commercial supporting either side of the abortion debate. Either way you broadcast all hell would break loose, and broadcasting companies aren't going to take that risk.
