I'm a fairly attractive young woman, and I am constantly slapped in the face with guys trying to pursue me when I thought we were platonic. Not only is it tiresome to have to turn down a guy who I have zero interest in, but it's also not attractive to me at all when a guy seems desperate to be with me. I'd much rather a guy make his attraction to me evident, but then make me work to show you why you want to be with me. Which, I'm awesome, so it shouldn't take too long either ;)

But... it's so much fun!

Really though, I like how you are automatically assuming that anyone who isn't religious is either a dead-beat parent, a drug addict, an alcoholic, addicted to cigarettes, or broke beyond belief. How incredibly judgmental and NON-CHRISTIAN like of you.

I thought Christians were supposed to be nonjudgmental?

I know a lot of people who don't follow any Religion, and they're happy, successful people.

I also know a lot of Christians that are the most addicted people I know.

Go talk to some people that you wouldn't normally, and please educate yourself with real people.

With Atheism you can do whatever you please and not worry about burning in hell. If you know me, then you'll understand how that could be appealing to me ;)

Also, Church isn't fun :(

No, I don't care about the commercials with dogs, I really don't. I honestly don't care if they air abortion commercials either, for or against. I'd prefer if not, simply because the absolute shit storm that will follow. Honestly though, it doesn't matter to me.

I would like to point out that I was answering the debate about commercials, you chose to try to make this an immature argument about our personal beliefs.

Also, I don't associate myself with political sides. Yes, I have my opinions on major issues, but I honestly could care less about the politics. Throwing around labels doesn't really unnerve me any.

I guess you could say I don't do Christmas well, it isn't a good time of year for me. But this year there was a lot of hurting within my family and me, so no Christmas this year.

I'm sorry, did I give my opinion on animal abuse or abortions? No. Because that's not what this was about, it's about commercials on them. And I explained why I believe one is aired, and not the other.

But yes, I don't want abortion commercials for either side.

And yes, I'm pro-choice.

Easily that goes to Guardians of the Galaxy, with x-men a close second.

There is too much controversy over something like abortions to make a commercial supporting either side of the abortion debate. Either way you broadcast all hell would break loose, and broadcasting companies aren't going to take that risk.

I love outside decorations! I use to drive around with my Mom when I was younger looking at all the lights people had. Best part of Christmas :)

I do agree that more people are choosing to live secular lives. It's not surprising, for several reasons. People's lives are becoming more and more fast paced, not trying to be rude, but they don't have time for religion anymore. Following almost any religion takes time, time that people don't believe they have anymore. Also, certain Scientific discoveries that people don't believe co-exist with Religion, therefore they choose to stop following the faith.

I actually didn't get anything this year. In fact, Christmas wasn't even Christmas to me this year.

Morality comes from the human mind of course. Look at all the other things that humans have come up with, is it really hard to believe they could come up with morality too?

What's worse is they steal it! Take it from hard-working people who paid for it.

It's a shame.

He was when I logged back in three nights ago.

Hahahaha, Srom? Is he still a boy technically? I have no clue how long it's been.

And it's almost dead here! This is disappointing!

Except, of course, good ol' reliable Joe :)

Glad to see you're still active too. But you knew that ;)

I hope so too! :)

I disagree with that, because I know countless of boys and girls who just did what they wanted. A boy in my school played flute even though he got hell for it, a girl played wrestling, and so forth.

Of course, that does raise the question of who is to blame for that sexism. I don't believe it's because boys are better suited for specific physical activities, rather society who judges. We can't simply change societies views, but we can at least give students an option to be brave enough to question their own.

Eh, it's been a bit of a rough year for me actually. Things are starting to look up though :) Thanks though, I'm glad to drop by and see a few familiar users.
