It is a real shame and such but no point trying to help. Western intervention may make things much worse you can not apply modern western technologies like the wonderful gun to a more primitive government, it is like give the atomic bomb to a cave man.
So if you go half and half you just screw an underdeveloped nation up. Most countries develop over hundreds of years as technology advances the government and infrastructure does to. Sorry for sounding borderline racist but this is a point. When Europe took control of countries in Africa they applied a new type of government which was much more organized and fitted well with the technology. Unfortunately control was given up to soon and some countries were messed up. An example is the British government returning sovereignty to a country and the leader spent 1/3 of the country buget on his coronation.------Sorry for the bad grammar rant.
Both always follow humanity. I do not think they has been a moment in humanity were they has been no hierarchy or religion. They is a saying in Russia that they will always be something in the place of religion. An example is communist Russia trying to dissipate religion, it immediately replaced the spot of religion bringing with it its own holidays and its own almost Religious clubs and organizations. So something will always take the place of religion.People will always have something in that spot what they worship or believe in .If the government grows stronger the Religion may grow weaker and vice verser ,unless the government is a theocracy. Overall Religion can go hand in hand with government and be parallel at the same time.

Men seem to be more mathematical, destructive and willing to stamp on people who get in there way.
They have been many Amazing woman leaders Catherine the great and Queen Victoria to name a couple.
Interestingly though most women who come to power have very manly qualities take Margret thatcher she is called the Iron lady for a reason.---- Overall they is no reason a woman won't get to power it is just for the masses to decide.

It seems that you could pray to a rock and you would have the same 3 outcomes If you had prayed to God.
1.Your prayer has been answered. You got what you wanted HAZAAAA praise the rock!
2.It does not happen, this is because the mighty rock thinks you are not ready, you do not deserve it and you should do it yourself because the rock thinks this is a luxury
3. Other-- It happens but not to the extent you wanted it to this means do the rest yourself.
So what is the difference between praying to the mighty Rock and God?
