if you bothered reading my argument you would notice i said gun related violence, and did not cover increase in all cases of violence, which the article you linked tackles.

the US has a higher murder rate then the UK

http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_mur_percap-crime-murders-per-capita

and ill also relink the amount of murders in the us with firearms compared with the rest of the world

"create more violence."

this is one of the only parts i disagree with.

the restrictions on guns in the UK are huge and we have very few gun related violence incidents

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6960431.stm#map

"the Second Amendment was intended to supply the nation with guns if the current government oversteps its authority with exorbitant laws of tyranny through the elimination of freedom and liberty."

you have got to remember this was ages ago, when the government wasn't very strong, and a rebellion was possible, its not in the US today i believe.

(I'm tired so i might have read some things in the wrong context)

(EDIT: and heres something i just found, don't know how accurate it is

though)

fuck you we have

"Long may she reign:

May she defend our laws,

And ever give us cause

To sing with heart and voice"

well done you can spit out some useless song. shes a danger to our freedom in the way that she can, if I'm not mistaken,

· declare war and send troops abroad;

· to make international and European treaties;

· to make appointments and award honors;

· to make major changes to the structure of government

that to me, is a blatant insult to the people. and no amount of titles should ever make her opinion and choices more important then the average citizen

"would mean confusion and pubic unrest in England"

good fuck the English, us Welsh, Scottish and northern Irish will get along just fine without some lady sucking up our money.

shes a hamper to our freedom.

homosexual families have every right to adopt children in fact according to a recent study

"however, they were surprised to discover that children in lesbian homes scored higher than kids in straight families on some psychological measures of self-esteem and confidence, did better academically and were less likely to have behavioral problems, such as rule-breaking and aggression"

so yeah, gay families raise children better then straight families.

unless you can prove a religion is right, then no, because even if i say ive "embraced it" i wont really have, because i wont believe in it without proper proof.

the chair, it has brought the world joys for many centuries, and has provided rest and comfort for people across all the world

1 point

i think that most religions are fairly irrational, a lot of the times they do harm, do i think people shouldn't be allowed to have religious beliefs? no, they can believe whatever they want as long as it doesn't effect me or other peoples way of life, but when people like the one in the videos start trying to force their ideology on to people, then theirs a problem.

yet, i bet we both knew Africa was a Continent right?

its been shown before you don't need to be smart or right to make money.

some of the greatest and most creative people have died poor.

Nikola Tesla

Harvey Ball, (he created the smiley face, http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_JN5N5r9mbo0/SYZCuGMf6YI/AAAAAAAAACM/Imd-Qm5LN9I/s400/Harvey_Ball.jpg )he only got $45 for his invention which has been sold millions of times.

and Socrates.

no they're stupid because they are, palin didn't know Africa was a Continent, bush helped alienate America from the rest of the world, and Glenn beck makes little to no sense.

3 points

no.

but yes only in extreme cases, and only if we can prove the person is guilty without a doubt.

3 points

don't worry, from a British perspective, after bush, Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck, nothing could make your country look worse.

3 points

depends what you mean by normal,

where i live they arnt "normal" as in common, but where i live neither are blacks, should i treat blacks differently? nope.

besides, being gay is genetic, and natural, there are many examples of animals in nature being gay.

and many of the worlds greatest people have been homosexual

freddie mecury

leonardo da vinchie was suspected of being homosexual

richard the lion heart

to name a few

well, if they hadn't around 2 million American soldiers would have died taking over japan, as well as many Russians, and from a military and political standpoint, you'd be a idiot not to drop it.

heres some arguments for abortion.

Nearly all abortions take place in the first trimester, when a fetus cannot exist independent of the mother. As it is attached by the placenta and umbilical cord, its health is dependent on her health, and cannot be regarded as a separate entity as it cannot exist outside her womb.

The concept of person hood is different from the concept of human life. Human life occurs at conception, but fertilized eggs used for in vitro fertilization are also human lives and those not implanted are routinely thrown away. Is this murder, and if not, then how is abortion murder?

Adoption is not an alternative to abortion, because it remains the woman's choice whether or not to give her child up for adoption. Statistics show that very few women who give birth choose to give up their babies - less than 3% of white unmarried women and less than 2% of black unmarried women.

Abortion is a safe medical procedure. The vast majority of women - 88% - who have an abortion do so in their first trimester. Medical abortions have less than 0.5% risk of serious complications and do not affect a woman's health or future ability to become pregnant or give birth

In the case of rape or incest, forcing a woman made pregnant by this violent act would cause further psychological harm to the victim. Often a woman is too afraid to speak up or is unaware she is pregnant, thus the morning after pill is ineffective in these situations.

Abortion is not used as a form of contraception. Pregnancy can occur even with responsible contraceptive use. Only 8% of women who have abortions do not use any form of birth control, and that is due more to individual carelessness than to the availability of abortion

The ability of a woman to have control of her body is critical to civil rights. Take away her reproductive choice and you step onto a slippery slope. If the government can force a woman to continue a pregnancy, what about forcing a woman to use contraception or undergo sterilization?

Teenagers who become mothers have grim prospects for the future. They are much more likely to leave of school; receive inadequate prenatal care; rely on public assistance to raise a child; develop health problems; or end up divorced

Like any other difficult situation, abortion creates stress. Yet the American Psychological Association found that stress was greatest prior to an abortion, and that there was no evidence of post-abortion syndrome.

personally, i think it should be a choice, why should someone else, who has no idea what a person is feeling have the ability to make a decision for them? although i believe abortion is always a very bad choice, and shouldn't be considered, but it should still be a option.
