We should learn U.S. history in 8th grade so we can know are country been through. What heritage we came from an what are actual race. Also so we can know why things are the why they are. For example laws why are laws the way they are. We should know it because we should know what are city been through. An so we would know who invent a inventions was it a black person or a white person you wouldn't know if we didn't study us history.
