Abuse of Executive Power

I am simply posting the email I received from American Center for Law and Justice to explain this.

How do you feel?

The Obama Administration is out of control.
That's exactly why I'll be testifying before Congress tomorrow.
At a hearing in the House, I'll address the Obama Administration's misuse of Executive power as it targeted conservative Americans before the 2012 election.
But that's not the only example. President Obama is now violating his oath of office, promising to make the laws he wants, promising to go around Congress.
He says he doesn't need Congress and that he can legislate through Executive orders.
He's wrong, and we're taking action.
We are setting up a unit here at the ACLJ to defend our Constitution from Executive overreach. We've sued President Obama's IRS and President Obama's HHS, and we're ready to challenge this Administration again.
Stand with us.

I personally stand with the ACLJ. Obama is really out of control. He does not understand the American People, he didn't grow up here and therefore really has no idea of what we are about.

A Constitutional law professor (even their students) should know better. The TRUTH is Obama was not a Constitutional law professor, and clearly he has not respected or protected the Constitution. Obama has broken his oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. Article II, Section 1.

Note: Executive Orders by the president were not designed for, nor do they give a president the authority to use as, a means to override or alter legislation or any other Constitutional violation. Furthermore, Executive Orders apply only to employees of the Executive Branch. Any Executive Order that applies to non-government employees is in violation of Article I Section I. Congress has the authority and is oath bound to veto such Executive Orders.

I feel like some of this is being blown out of proportion, but I don't think he is doing a good job, so I won't go through and find it. I don't think it is really fair to list all of his mistakes when other presidents have their mistakes as well. I think they all abuse their power.

He's a tyrant, but we will never win. .

Meh, the usual from this group. When they are not harassing American Muslims for trying to build culture centers in New York they are pushing Christianity. They were quiet silent during the Bush administration despite his alleged abuse of powers.

Guess we will see if any of their claims stick, they have a chance at a few of them I think.

All presidents lie and they all will abuse their executive power. The difference is that Obama came out and personally criticized Bush, which is a big no no to do. Obama openly said he will be a different type of president, which he clearly is not.

Do you really think it is a coincidence that Clinton and the two Bush presidents get along very well now that they are not in office. These three respect the office of the presidency something Carter and Obama obviously do not. Carter has routinely made inappropriate remarks that are uncalled for. Maybe there is hope for Obama when he leaves the White House, but I doubt it.
