How dare anyone question if Ted Kennedy didn't do more then MJ for the Black community!
Some people say not to compare poeple who fight for human rights. Well I would have to dissagree with that. Michael Jackson helped the Black community just for singing. Ted Kennedy had to fight for peoples civil rights. He went through a lot of critism for that. I did say that I compare poeple for fighting for human rights and saying that obviouslly MLK did the most and obviously had to go through a lot more. But each individual person needs to be looked at a way where there achievement was theres and not others. Im very curious to see if someone picks MJ and how there going to explain what he did that was so great.

To compare these two people is ludacrous. One simply has nothing to do with the other. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Michael Jackson was an entertainer while Ted Kennedy spent 47 years in the Senate trying to make this country better for the less fortunate. His signature is on over 1500 bills in the Senate and over 500 were passed into law. What MJ did was spread the message of love and caring by his songs. What TK did was make certain people had the rights they so desperately deserved but could never get. Side: Legend for politics 'n rights

Well...., here...., go here: http://www.createdebate.com/debate/show/ and read about what a great person he was. ;) Side: Uhm no MJ did more
Both were abusing their power for personal financial gain. However, MJ did help more by donating than Ted Kennedy ever could with his so-called fight for rights. At least Michael Jackson made money with his musical talent while TK did it through his father's illegal sale of alcohol in the Prohibition Era. Side: Uhm no MJ did more
