I said nothing is a valid defense for a felony crime. Maybe self defense or defense of family … or defense of country. A gay or "trans" has as much right to defend themselves as any human being (or animal, for that matter). Would you be against an animal for defending themselves? If they were in a panic? I don't think so. Fear is an uncontrollable emotion, no matter who, or what, you are. Then it comes down to the circumstances. We have to have feelings for everyone and everything, according to the circumstances. ;-) Side: Yes.
