Many atheist have posted on the no side to this debate. I haven't disputed humans being apes. Of course they are, and posting on the other side doesn't mean that I think to the contrary the debate asked that if humans being apes was proof of evolution, it isn't, it is just a taxonomic fact. Why thank you. The reason I can argue like this and not be insulted by the banter is that I'm not an atheist. I believe in the power of science, but I am actually a Pantheist. If you actually knew what you were talking about you would know that atheists and evolution do not claim that humans are apes. Evolution shows that we once shared a common ancestor with the apes and monkeys! People who do not understand evolution are the ones that makes claims that it states humans are apes! What about women?? So only men are made of the image of god, not women? Then how did women come to being, what is their image? Evolution is based on the theory that humans evolved from the same parent as apes evolved from, so how is it that it one can be true and the other false? It cannot.
