Should AIDS drugs be made cheaper for developing countries?
Do you think it is fair that people that live in poor developing countries where people have no money should have to pay so much money for ' AIDS cocktails ' when they can barely afford to pay for their daily food?

Hell I think that they should be free for most developing countries. I think that they should basically be free for everyone but I guess we do not live in a perfect world. I know people that are here in the US and they barely make the payments on their cocktails for a month. I find that wrong that they have to struggle literally to survive. Side: Of course

Yeah, I can't look it up right now, but on average it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to treat just one HIV patient over their life, and still people like the catholic church are against giving out 50 cent condoms, and clean needle programs for addicts, it's retarded. but I firmly believe that we've evolved to the point, where it should be a right of any individual to get the medical help they need regardless of money. Yep, that would be universal Health Care. And no, it's not communism. Side: Of course

Not only for AIDS drugs, but for all drugs! These people can barely afford food. I think the least these drug companies can do is supply affordable (if not free) drugs to the poorest in developing nations. I also think we should feel the compassion, as Americans, to help them out as well. I'm not saying we need to help them, but we should all think about it and help if we can. Side: Of course
