Should drug addicts have the right to have children?
Being born in a home where the parents are drug addicts can ruin your whole childhood? And does an innocent child deserve to be born into this extreamly bad enviornment, where there are bigger chances of violence and abuse?
But is it right to make it illegal for some people not to have children?

I don't see how you could prevent drug addicts to have children. Sterilizing them is not an option in my opinion, we are not in the Nazi eugenic paranoia period. What we should do is to make illegal drugs unavailable. There are also legal drugs (tobacco, alcohol, some medication, sex). Plus, there are treatments for addiction. Children should be taken away from their parents if the parents behave badly, but some parents can keep their addictions under control (with or without medication). Side: Yes

Well, you can't really prevent people from reproducing. You can't force them to sterilize themselves, but if it happens that they get a kid, social serveses will be quick to take that kid. But I don't think this only applies to drug addict, this applies to gamblers, alcoholics, criminals and a bunch of other people. Drug addicts aren't worse than those. Side: No
