Oh the point system... That's exactly why my mom just discovered why cruise control doesn't work under 25 MPH. haha She asked me yesterday if I knew that (I did) because she doesn't want to risk another ticket. Did I mention she just got a new Mustang in June? >.> lol Side: No

Well, if everybody pays an equal percentage of their income, the idea is that the impact it has on each person would then be equal as well. Even then, the impact still wouldn't really be equal. Imagine something ridiculous like losing half your income on a speeding fine. For most of us, that would be devastating to our financial wellbeing. Now imagine Tiger Woods losing half his 2009 income (what did he make, 90 million or something?). Oh shit...how am I going to survive for an entire year on 45 million? Side: yes

No way should speeding tickets be based on income! I say this because it will cause the police to be bias against the more wealthy, which will also cause them to let the others fly under the radar. I say this because they will know they can make a bigger catch if they get the guy driving the Bugatti. Side: No
