Should teachers be made to follow the same rules and procedures as the students

On campus, students are not allowed to wear short skirts, have their cell phones out, or engage in "illegal" activities such as smoking or using foul language. Should teachers be held to the same standards? Why or why not?

in some ways yes and some ways no. when it comes to stuff like having ur phone out in class then yes. i think that if u get on to a student for having their phone out in class u shouldnt turn around and have your phone out 2 that bull crap.

yes i totally agree with vbloxham! teachers do need to have the same rules as the students because if they can sit in class texting or on the phone then i think that the student should be allowed to also.

Absolutely because its annoying when they are up in front of the class chewing gum. Then a student questions them on it they dare to get mad!

Side: yes

Teachers have to set a fine example so they should demonstrate to the class professionalism at its best.

Side: yes

Children need to learn that, in this world, some people are more equal than others ;)
