The irony of outlawing Nazism.
Nazism is frequently criticised for its practice of outlawing other political parties (among other things). Is the banning of it unwittingly ironic, or do those governments simply not care, so long as their agenda is fulfilled?
Unwittingly ironic.

Governments don't care. The Nazis are usually pictured as the face of evil unless you're Robert Mugabe. Most people would support the outlawing of the Nazi party. But the "I was not Jewish so I didn't speak up" domino effect comes into play where eventually our beliefs will be outlawed. Side: Governments don't care.
And Governments don't care because while they may critisize the practice of outlawing other governments, that is not the main gripe against nazism. It would be like if I... I don't know killed a bunch of Jewish folks, but then also littered. And then as they are dragging me to jail the cop also littlered and I said "It's ironic I'm going to jail and I littered and you also littered." ... see what I'm sayin. Nazism isn't outlawed for littering. Side: false premise
