I think the statement is true enough. However, I think it's much more than just that. The problems with our world are multiple and too complex to reduce to such a simple observation as this. It's an interesting thing to contemplate though. "What is the root cause of the world's problems today?" Side: True

The answer is due not to confidence, but due to the inevitable truth that the dumb populate faster and pass on their genes, unlike those who are smart, who seem not to as much. As the Genes of the Dumb spread, there are more to repopulate the dumb population until the smart people will eventually be bred out. That at least sounds more plausible. Side: False
