of course. people are getting lazier and lazier day by day!!!! in rural areas, where there are very less electronic gadgets and so people there are pretty much less obese than people living in urban. and now to make them realize their mistakes and increase in weights, technology has come to a rescue too.there are treadmills used by people around the world!!! so I don't blame technology entirely for making people lazy but in many fields it has made people much more lazier. 950 days ago | Side: yes
"in rural areas, where there are very less electronic gadgets and so people there are pretty much less obese than people living in urban." Although that may be true on some level, the causes of obesity in urban areas is more than pure laziness. An increasingly unhealthy lifestyle, with the indulgence of junk food has often been seen as a significant factor in obesity. Also, it depends on how you deal with the term "lazy". For some, the convenience brought about by technology may make our lives easier and tasks being completed with less effort. In that sense, there may be some laziness generated. However, the trend, especially in the working world is that as technology improves and machines are taking over more processes in businesses, us as employees often have to work harder to ensure that we are growing efficient as well. Hence, we could potentially see the fact that people needing to work harder due to the emphasis on efficiency as an area in which we have to become more hardworking instead of being lazy. 950 days ago | Side: No
Although that may be true on some level, i said that in my argument!!! with the indulgence of junk food has often been seen as a significant factor in obesity. there!!! you mentioned it just now. how has the junk food come into being???? by electronic devices!!!that is technology has developed enough to heat a food item and puff it up within seconds. that is why we eat junk food when we are in a hurry and that has made us impatient to wait for any nutritious meal because it takes longer to make(and boring to eat). Also, it depends on how you deal with the term "lazy". For some, the convenience brought about by technology may make our lives easier and tasks being completed with less effort. In that sense, there may be some laziness generated. I said that!!! in a different sentence formation. us as employees often have to work harder to ensure that we are growing efficient as well. employees have to work hard and they do. but this leads to mental growth not physical. (that is we grow physically but not the way we are supposed to) 949 days ago | Side: yes
people prefer using cars and other vehicles to go for a very short distance as well. although people who are more aware try and walk as far as they can to avoid use of vehicles and other appliances. this also stops degradation of many natural resources. technology might have helped in the progress of many countries but it has even lead to unemployment, obesity and laziness in many areas... 946 days ago | Side: yes
Though technology has made life easy but people lazy.We have a machine substitute for everything and are working to make more. Present human wish only to sit on a desk and do mental work. Thus he has turned strong and quick mentally but very weak and lazy physically. 944 days ago | Side: yes
yes, I heard about that too. Google is developing cars that can self-drive, and already tested them in the San Francisco area. There is a huge difference between driving by humans and driving by autonomous machines. The machines are not replacing us as drivers; they are improving us. Machines are much more accurate than humans. Think about how much pedestrians and other drivers autonomous cars could save. If google's new technology could be improved and installed everywhere, we would practically eliminate the need for transportation laws and create a super efficient transportation system (no more traffic :). Also, next time, do use spellcheck 950 days ago | Side: No
i would say yes. because in the 19th ages people were looking on making every thing easy for the future but never stooped to realize what harm may it cause to the future generation and one of the harms is laziness because this generation has found things very easy and doesn't bother too look back on how things are made or should be improved hence setting a limit for their activities meaning laziness 950 days ago | Side: yes
it made us compare a rural man & urban an u'll know da difference |
it may make people lazy. but actually this technology helps mankind in many ways. this technology can be used at some works where there is no need of much intelligence something like guarding house or typing letters etc so that man's intelligence may not go in vain and use it for other purpose. even some jobs like mining are very dangerous to man's life so at that time we can use technology .even technology saves us during natural calamities. even in nuclear stations this technology can be used in case of any poisonous leakage. So we have many many advantages. "if we use it in a proper way" 950 days ago | Side: No
No, just as technology has made walking unnecessary it has made walking a hobby, cars are becoming an environmental problem as well as a fuel consumer as such degrading them in fuel consummation has become a priority which will make walking more used, aside travel Ware would we be with out tech' we wouldn't have the treatments we have now or communications that are at times crucial, to a greater extent it has made life dangerous as more devastating weapons are being made, but as lazy is concerned its the person choice to walk or drive so the real question is 'has humanity become lazy?'. 950 days ago | Side: No
If you focus on technology that literally is doing things for us, such as factory machines, I would say that leans closer towards the "making us lazy" but it still doesn't go as far as that. Sure, we have remote controls and breath strips that melt without having to suck on them.. but there are other things that have made us into even greater beings. As we discover new scientific theories and rollover into a new era of thinking, we as man evolves. When something is created using our brains, it opens up a thousand more new doors for us to begin exploring. Man is a constant explorer and I think we need to embrace this. 946 days ago | Side: No
I'll go against it that gadgets have made us lazy. Because it saves our TIME which we can utilize for our other work.We can able to communicate with our dear one's because of the gadgets,it made the communication and transportation FASTER.We can also loose our weight just for examples gyms. More jobs are introduced due to industrialization and they also gave us COMFORT. 923 days ago | Side: yes
