I believe Obamas speech is more motivational. He isnt saying we cant try to do the things we want, (basketball, football player, rapper, or singer) he is telling us to have a more realistic goals. It was great how he added in his personal experience, not everyone has the resources or the money but we should try our hardest anyway.
