Plastic water bottles should not be banned because it would impact our economy in an even more negative way than it is now. With the usage of plastic bottles, you can recycle the bottles and use them over and over again. Plastic water bottles represents less than 1% of solid waste. Another important point to recognize is that plastic bottles are safe to use and they won't crack or anything if you drop them. Besides with drinking water and having plastic water bottles it is better than wasting money on soda and actually drinking soda since it is not the best thing for you.
