Echoing the point of many of your classmates, I disagree with your point that history is not beneficial in dealing with the emergence of viruses and epidemics such as SARS and H1N1. For one, the procedure adopted in during the SARS epidemic gave us guidelines on what to do during the H1N1 outbreak, and we were better able to handle the crisis. However, your other examples are true. Overall, good argument!

I dispute this argument; like what you've done with many of your classmates, I think that you should check your arguments for errors. Dear Varun, it is areaS, not areaa. I do believe there is no such word. However, I do agree with your point. I feel that it is a valid argument.

I do not believe that the point of the debate was the language of the user.

I do not feel that you should dispute a point just based on the the fact that an example used might not be interesting; the example does its work of supporting the point. Rejecting an argument on the basis that the examples given are not interesting enough is not valid.

I agree with this point. I feel that there is strong elaboration, the debate is presented very well, and the example supports this debate. good job overall!

I think you have a very good point here. The argument is well-developed, with examples, but I think more ought to be provided. For one, the case of the Protestants and Catholics could be an isolated one. heheheeeeee
