We all know that we are going to get made fun of and ridiculed for having the name Jack E. Singley Academy. I don't have a problem with him having named something after him, he deserves it. Name the administration building after him, anything. Just not my school. Not a High School. No offense to him or anybody else, but he is still alive, and therefore, we should take his opinion into consideration. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he is against this. So with all due respect to Mr. Singley, the active schoolboard is nothing but a group of members who are incredibly stubborn who sit on their high horse and don't bother to listen to the opinions of the students, teachers, and administrators of the school. Just because they're "the school board" shouldn't mean that they have the only say in all this. The fact that they are choosing to rename the school is ridiculous. The school board always acts in a way that is preposterous and beneficiary to them and not the actual students. Listen to what Mr. Singley wants, not to your selfish egos...
