Bottled water is only required to be inspected or tested once a day, tap water is inspected many times every day, tap water is actually safer.
We should just drink out of a tap, its actually safer and is treated more than bottled water. Those jobs you were talking about, they involve working with millions of gallons of oil. That means we can just use that up too!
We don't need water bottles, they are expensive and bad for the environment. Just drink out of a tap.
The only problem is that we DON'T recycle them, only about 30 percent of the 1 million bottles that we make a minute get recycled.
Water bottles are super expensive though, the average American spends up to 1,200 dollars a year on plastic water bottles. Why not buy a metal water bottle that can be less than 15 dollars, travel with you, and last for years to come?
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
