German's invasion of poland led to the breakout of WW2. Hitler wanted to have a railroad build across the polish corridor to reconnect Germany with east prussia which was considered to be a part of Germany. Tension was increased between Poland and Germany which caused the negotiation of Poland's independence to break apart. Britain and France realised that Hitler could not be trusted as he was made to be the devil. This allowed Hitler to pursue his aggressive foreign policy without having to regard the objection and threats from the League Of Nations and allowed Germany's rearmament. He also made use of the weakness of the league of nation to prove them to be ineffective when they faced strong and powerful countries. This contributed to the British to adopt a policy of appeasement to satisfy Hitler and prevent the outbreak of another war. Therefore this caused Britain and France to declare war on Germany.
