Hitler should be held accountable for the start of World War Two. Even if The League of Nations were weak, it did not give Hitler a right to breach the Treaty of Versailles. He remilitarized Rhineland, involved in the Spanish Civil War, and invaded numerous countries.
Hitler remilitarized Rhineland to test if The League of Nations would react to his action, when they ignored him, this made him expand his territories for militarization. He obviously breached one of the terms in the Treaty of Versailles and conscience would have told him that it was wrong. This was one of the first steps of provoking the League of Nations.
The Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact was signed to avoid war with Soviet Union, since Soviet Union was just around the corner. This means that he already planned go to war. This pact was signed to ensure that no war was to happen with Soviet Union and prevent further trouble of sending supplies and weapons to the other side of Germany. Hitler had already gotten ready for war and was not afraid of triggering the declaration of war on Germany by Britain and France. Thus, Hitler should be held accountable for WW2's start.
