Should teenagers be able to obtain birth control without the consent of a parent?
Throughout the teenage years, the curiousity of kid's becomes extremely heightened. Whether it's going to your first party, or hitting the blunt, the teenage years are jam-packed with "firsts." One of the major curiosities of teenagers is sex. A significant percentage of teens lose their virginity prior to their high school graduation. Many parents choose to stick their heads in the sand, and pretend that their child will never have sex. Some parents refuse to allow their child to even consider the idea of having sex. However, the fact of the matter is, that if a teenager wants to have sex, they will find a way to do it. In which case, should they, or should they not have the ability to obtain/purchase birth control at a pharmacy or clinic?
