It shouldn't be reported. It's literally a guy tripping on the stairs. Is everyone that has tripped on the stairs immediately mentally deficient now?

I'm a bit worried about Biden's mental state in general, it's like he has Alzheimers or something, but I don't think him tripping on the stairs counts as supporting evidence.

And if money was all that wealth was, you'd be right. Since it isn't you aren't.

If there's nothing to buy in a poor economy, money is useless.

When I say wealth I don't explicitly mean money, hence why I didn't say money. Money is a medium of exchange, work and exchange under economies of scale are what represent wealth. It's not a closed system as you suggest, it's not a zero sum game; because when people don't do useful work, wealth isn't generated, and wealth is even lost to entropy in the absence of maintainance.

I haven't read any economists, this is common sense. When you disincentivise work, less work is done. Go figure.

If you're talking about relative poverty, I agree. If you're talking about absolute poverty, you are empirically wrong.

The focus here is on redistribution and not on the generation of wealth. I fear these policies lead to suppressing the markets and having everyone become equally poor rather than raising the poor out of poverty. Given that most markets are already overtaxed, it is typical of tax revenue to increase when the tax rate is relaxed, moving towards a local maximum.

Poverty is already on the decline under capitalism, even if inequality is on the rise. I don't see why change would be necessary.

I was going to say they're both stupid stories that aren't worth talking about, but somehow you found an even lesser story of Trump not falling over to compare to Biden falling over.

1 point

This isn't a story.

I know the mental and physial decline of the president is on many people's minds, but this is a stupid representation of that.

Actually my ancestors won the war. My great grandparents helped beat the snot out of those nazis, didn't even let them occupy us. Their superior race nonsense didn't hold much weight when it came to facing the Brits. Meanwhile America was in the pocket until Japan pissed them off, and the USSR was busy running away while killing their own.

I don't like fascism. I don't like communism. I don't like socialism. They're all the same collectivist garbage.

It's an argument I heard regarding abortion, when aborting the child of a rapist. I've always thought that abortion should be allowed for such circumstances, but also came across this and thought it an interesting argument. It's posited in a way that no liberal would disagree with, inherited sin is obviously wrong. I think the reason most people agree with aborting children of rape is because of the lack of consent from the mother, and that's certainly valid.

But I also rarely see any credence given to the position of the child being aborted, so this argument seemed quite offputting to me. From the child's perspective, it is a child born from an immoral action, but why should they suffer or be killed for that? They had no choice in the matter either.

Ok, I identify as a member of the benefctors of the world, and I identify you as a demon hellspawn that is destroying everything. Therefore, you are hateful and I am not.

Do you understand yet how this argument isn't very helpful?

You seem like a hateful person burrito, and it only makes me laugh.

I meant your accusation that I'm bronto and referencing a bunch of other crap I know nothing about.

Like I said, the message was directed at both you and Jody with a comment from each.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

The first was from you, the second was from Jody, and I didn't state otherwise. I'd hoped you, like Jody, would be able to figure that out yourselves.

Looks clear to me you get banned from Amarels' debates for harassment, not disagreement.

What are you talking about you ridiculously stupid moron?

Wow! You are very sensitive indeed you posted up a very vague debate in the past and instead of re -stating a poorly worded debate your best option is to sulk and bitch about it , so can you move on and try and heal your damaged ego?

These are ad hominems.

It causes lung damage in serious cases, yes. And those that are less likely to die are also less likely to develop a serious infection.

Indeed there are a few, and If I had symptoms and thought I was sick I wouldn't go to see them, just the same as before any of this authoritarian crap happened. Moreover, they are vaccinated.

I'm young. I posit a somewhat equal risk of suffering complications from either. If left up to me, I wouldn't take it. Give it to those actually at risk, or those that need to sate their paranoia.

This is partly because the risk of death for someone like me is so low - around 0.01%; it's roughly the same as choking on my food, and 5 times higher than of being struck by lightning in my lifetime; both also being things I don't concern myself with.

And it's also partly because of the vaccine. I have no problem with vaccines in general, so more specifically I'm wary of this particular vaccine being a new technology and not undergoing the same testing standards as other vaccines. Better the devil you know than the devil you don't.

With 3 out of 4 of all deaths worldwide being due to noncommunicable diseases; typically the body just falling apart, I think the greatest threat we face is age itself - the continual degradation of our bodies. Imagine the progress that could be made if all these resources that have gone towards covid went towards solving the problem of aging? Fable of the dragon-tyrant: we're still under its rule, most resigned to it, some even believing that it is a rightful ruler, good for us even. It's possible, but if that were true, why bother to save anyone?

I saw a journalist claiming something similar. Hilarious.

I told you it was the first link I found. I don't even know who she is, so why the genetic fallacy? And I even said you don't have to read a word of what she said, just watch the original source.

Whatever. I give up. Your inability to look at a source has convinced me you must already know everything you need to.

I don't know her, I don't care what she said, it's literally the first link I found with footage of the case regarding what I'm talking about, she's unimportant. What I want is for you to watch the original source. Is that so hard?

Here's another, again, direct footage

Piece of shit Uncle Tom isn't he? And your title is just plain wrong, it's not that they support black followers, it's that if they aren't followers they ain't Black.
