Should terminally ill people have "the right to try"? "Right to try" meaning to have the right to try experimental drugs. Yes, provided they are presented with all of the information and are in a reasonable state of mind (i.e. the relevant mental faculties have not been eroded substantially). Also, you could apply this principle to people that are not just terminally ill, however any type of significant, debilitating condition. Ultimately, it should be their choice if they want to "roll the dice" or not. Furthermore, not only does this give the individuals choice/autonomy, it also provides Scientists with invaluable experimental data that will ultimately help lead to further progress in the area (getting closer to a proper solution). I have biological entropy, there is no doubt about it, I'm going to die. I'm not saying I would, but if I found a strange bottle full of unmarked mystery pills, ground score rights tells me that I totally have the right to eat them pills. Some things are unlawful to eat I guess. Don't do drugs, it isn't kosher. Really though, as many throwed off drug addicts I know..... I still say that people should be able to put whatever chemicals they want in their body. Is it bad that I personally know two people who were in the news here in Austin for running around naked while on drugs and getting hauled off by the angry johnnies? There was this other guy I don't really know who was killed not too long ago while being apprehended by the police while running around naked. You know what? I think people have the right to run around naked too. People have the right to run around naked while on drugs! WITH GUNS! Guns and Dope Party USA! Side: yes
