Well, this is an extremely difficult question, you see. There are billions of stars in the universe with many planets. What are the odds that there exists another planet sustaining the conditions to support life, much like ours. The probability is high! However, this is contradicted with the fact that we have not made any contact with any intelligent life ever. Plus, other planets/stars were created billions of years before ours. This has set up a time period of over a billion years for life to erupt, develop, etc. However, there are many complications with this potential life making contact with us. Look up the Fermi Paradox. It will explain more there.

Yes. If people cannot possibly escape from their dilemma, they should be offered the option. I personally think no one should do it nor find it is an easy, adequate away to escape. However, there are situations where maybe one should do it and God should grant them this right.

Islam, in its teachings, is a very pure and good religion, like Christianity. However, some Muslims turn to extremism to carry out what Islam tells them; on the other hand, these extremists distort the goodness of Islam. Don't say Islam is bad; say the extremists are bad!
Elevators because they are convenient, fast, and a way for humans to get transported between floors without wasting energy. I understand people who want to use the stairs for the leg strength and cardio and whatnot; however, elevators are just simpler and easier.
