Since when are knives a cheat? I can think of a few occasions when Batarangs are used as knives in the comics.

To your 'smartest and deadliest' comment- I can agree with the smartest part, no matter how much i hate RR, I agree with that. But DEADLIEST?! HA! Here are the reasons that is untrue;

A. Jason defeats him WITH EASE everytime they meet, even when Tim cheats by bringing in weapons before Jason does.

B. Dick could most likely easily defeat him too, because even though Tim is the smartest, Dick isn't stupid, and is in fact pretty smart too.

C. When him and Damian fight, Damian, the 10 YEAR OLD, gives him a good fight.

I think Tim is the least interesting of all the Robins, but that's just me...... and most my friends. There are other reasons I dislike him, and if you would like to discuss it, feel free to dispute this argument.

I think that Nightwing has more experience. However, their rivalry has to be one of the best, even if I love reading brother moments between them in fanfiction.

They're just all around more evenly matched, let's take a look, shall we?

Strength: Jason

Acrobatics: Dick (Obviously :P)

Traps: Jason

Book-smarts: Dick

Most everything else is a tie, or irrelevant.

Also, Dick has defeated Jason in their past encounter. I say Jason can beat everyone else (besides Bruce, Cass, and maybe Babs), but due to their similarities, we have to look for more experience, and that's Dick over Jason.

I love them both, and the fight could change drastically depending on the situation.

Batman has more of a reason than the fact that it's not his style, or it goes against his moral code.

In case you didn't know (and if you don't know this, why are you even debating about this?) a gun killed his parents, and it's more than the fact that it goes against his moral code that he doesn't use them.

Also, in the movie Flashpoint (haven't read the comic book....yet.) Thomas Wayne is Batman, uses guns, and is a total douche.

Plus, and I quote (not perfectly), "How long do you think Gotham would tolerate us if we decided to kill?"

If you read many Batman comics, he has the use of a sonic device on his boot that summons bats and, wouldn't that kinda overwhelm Spidey's senses, allowing Batman to use his stealth as an advantage.

Also, Batman's batarangs can cut through his Bat-rope, which, at one point I think, held WW.

In Under the Red Hood, his exact words were;

"You know many knives that can cut my lines?"

"Not many."

"Exactly."

I like that you admit Batman is smarter than Spidey though, so many people have trouble accepting that.

No one is saying he's invincible, we're just saying he would MOST LIKELY beat Spidey in a fight due to the fact that he is;

A. A grown man

B. Rich enough to buy basically ANYTHING, including, but not limited to, inhibitor collars

C. Stealthier

D. Has the thing on his boot to summon bats, therefore blinding Spidey AND most his senses.

E. A crime fighter good enough to fit in GOTHAM, not to mention he has NO POWERS WHATSOEVER!

It's just more pronounced that Spider-man is a genius. Have you never read something actually showing Batman's school days? If not, I suggest you read a few panels before making rash decisions, because Spiderman IS a high school boy, so it's gonna tell you a lot about how much of a genius he is, just like Batman's comics focus on how he's a buisness man.

In the comics, it shows Bruce has degrees in chemistry, physics, criminology, computer science, engineering, and mathematics. He also learns a variety of crime-fighting skills, including chemistry, criminology, forensics, martial arts, gymnastics, disguise, and escape artistry.

Also, I don't think Spiderman has the title of "The World's Greatest Genius". Batman, however, is well known as "The World's Greatest Detective". Ra's al Ghul even refers to him as "Detective". Not "A Detective", not "the Batman, but "Detective" or "THE Detective".
