If there is no religion there will be no hope no faith. Religion is a important part of our life and human psychology. We do right things in a hope that some supreme being is watching us all and reward us for our work that prevents many of us from doing anything wrong. We believe some supreme being will provide us with salvation. It is hardwired into our genes to look for something superior and supreme in our surrounding. Though I support the notion of a "SINGLE RELIGION" would bring peace to current world situation but saying abolishing all religions completely would throw the whole system into chaos. As there would be no one left to look upto.

How we use technology depends upon us. Just because automotive cause accidents we don't ban them. We try to make necessary laws and arrangements to prevent misuse and mishaps. Similarly if you misuse or waste the resourceful cellphone its all on you not on the technology.
Why did you give your wife a cellphone ? (May god never let this happen) If your wife is returning home from job and a group of robbers chase her won't she need a cellphone ? If one your way home you get a heart attack would you run towards the hospital or landlines ? Just think about it if not directly then indirectly its a indispensable resource. Thank you.
You are driving in a car with your parents off for holiday to some resort you get into a accident. What will you do ? What will you wish for ? when your parents are in front of you screaming for help(May god never let this happen). Ape men never knew about ambulance, hospital or cops or law. That time they didn't have to babysit their parents in the country side in Canada and talk to their boss in Sidney. Cellphones are not only for those who gossip and do Facebook . It earns millions of people their livelihood directly or indirectly. Without sex organs you can live as there is enough of us to populate the world that doesn't mean we remove it!! lol. Or when you get a job your parents are no more required that doesn't mean we abandon them. In primitive ages old people were abandoned when they became old because they became a liability similarly in today's world the definition of living a life has changed as to what used to be in the past. Yes, in a western world cellphone is a indispensable resource. A majority of western population own or have access to cellphone. As important eyes and ears were for cavemen today in this grand canon of concrete cellphone are to western population. We can live without cellphones but it will make us less competent, inaccessible and less efficient. Our both current information gaining and sharing capacity will be in a virtual paralysis. In today's world instant communication is of prime importance without which everything will come to a virtual halt. And boom of Facebook twitter and never the less cellphones is a concrete evidence of this undeniable truth. I agree it has drawback but just because Dictionary has words like "fuck" or "sex", Internet can be used to make "bombs" or watch "porn" and auto mobiles can cause "accidents" we don't ban them completely we make rules and try to prevent misuse because of a simple truth that is its benefits and advantages outweighs its drawbacks. So I am completely in favor of the motion that cellphones are a necessary "accessory" in the Western world, in this century. Thank you.
Considering Mobile devices like Notes they can help reduce the burden of children's school bags... Children can share their ideas class-notes thoughts projects etc with other students. If misuse is to be considered then the e-notes can be provided with IMEI numbers and strict rules can be implemented. Teachers and moderators can have 24X7 access of files, documents and websites accessed by students. Except private stuff like G-mail Facebook etc. Battery is not a factor as notes give a power backup of 4-5 hours and 2 batteries would be enough. E-notes can make learning a new and great experience for students.

Universe is the competition... Sacrifices must be made in form of deformities and death...nature is the proof that always the fittest will prevail... We have no idea what's out there in the Universe... as you referred we would become obsolete...True we might already have become obsolete... We need to improve ourselves... There is no rule as fair and just in the book of Universe(I am not being paranoid) but just think about it... what happens when a superior species comes in contact with a inferior one it directly results in extinction of the inferior species... Our end may come as Alien intervention or asteroid or epidemic etc. We must be prepared for it. There is no rule of fair and just in the book of Universe. We must not exploit and extensively use the technology but we must arm ourselves with it because one day we would need it for sure... If not today or tomorrow maybe 100 or 500 years latter but because of the complexity of the field we must start today.

Dear from the beginning of man's walk on Earth for a quite long time he has been fed with his instincts instincts to survive... Instinct for his race for his DNA to survive... We love our dear ones more because its a million year old habit of our. We want our DNA to survive... this kinda scientific thing...in philosophy is called emotions or love or like or want... and stuff... Your mother loves you more than the people in your neighborhood... What do you think about the people who are running Old age homes or Help Age India ? You think they don't have any emotions... These movies are made to question the morals of the society... If people were heartless and emotionless... then movies like "Baghwan" and "Lage Raho Munna Bhai" would have been complete flop... But I must agree that some children abandon their parents... But the reason of old age homes cannot be attributed only to emotionless creatures... their can be other unseen reasons like... insufficiency of funds... unavailability of social environment... their children might have demised... dispute in the family... or our own million year old instinct... we humans at the dawn of man kind had only one agenda "Survive" that time from nature "Evolutionary Race"... so old people were just a liability from the new generation without giving any kinda output...so over time we got hardwired to survive by leaving behind old people and taking care of young ones... as time passed we formed societies... these societies formed rules... if we had to live within its protection we had to follow them... but now in 21st. century the competition is returning not in form of "nature" but in form of more deadly "Economic Race" so the man kind is calling upon its raw instincts to survive this... Man is a bundle of emotions until and unless he is drowning(Metaphorical)... There are more parents living happily with their children and with the support of their children than parents in old age homes... and as i said lack of emotion is not only the reason and the presence of old age home itself shows a presence of emotion in human kind.

After seeing that beggars on the street we go to our children,siblings and our own conscience and ask them to study so that they won't have to face such kind of hardships in their life. We ask our loved ones to work even harder so they can do better in their lives. We start saving money so our family can live happily. Some times is isn't a straight forward relation but a subconscious relation.
Epic i totally agree with you.If there were no emotions we would be no greater than turtles who can out from the sea to give birth to their young ones and then go away leaving the babies on their own alone to survive. The i guess monkeys(Any animal with higher level of emotions) would have dominated the earth forcing us into forests and eventually extinction. Emotion has played an important role in the dominance of human race over all other races.Even though plants came to earth before we humans. Due to their lack of emotions we dominated them later(In a certain way). :)
War and Corruption is due to lack of emotion. When rationalism weighs over emotion. Greed can be regarded as a hybrid of rationalism and emotion. A greedy person wants more. But why ? Because he rationalizes that it will make him happy more comfortable at his old age and never the less now. It would make his wife children parents live more happily. If Greed were pure emotion it would make him to sympathize for the people whose money he is taking. I though totally agree with sourav2597 that emotion has been a reason of catastrophe but it has healed the world more than it has hurt it. Rationalism cannot alone redeem the world. Terrorists are "brainwashed" on basis of emotion and religion into believing that somehow those innocent people are related to the deaths of their(Terrorist's) dear ones and those of who belonged to their(Terrorist's) religion. Terrorists are made to believe that they are soldiers who should avenge the death of their loved ones. Sometimes families are blackmailed into sending their children for such causes. Naming such inhumane causes as work of god.
