When Awen27 said that there is no way the world is going to end, let me just say that world might not end the way you think it woyld end. You're probably thinking of suns storms and that stuff, but that's not the only way. Maybe a nuclear war, a disease, Pole Shifts, another Ice Age. It might be good to research before you post. No. Is this with the Mayan (or w.e.) calender thing where their calender ends on that day? I just want people to know that the calender CYCLE ends on that day and on the 22nd December 2012 it will begin at the start of the next cycle. Kind of like a.. year. I remember when that whole 6/6/6 happened. It was funny. Side: No
No, not really. I am a bit curious to see if anything happens though. And I have heard that scientists are predicting a solar storm that will screw with all of our technology, so we may go through some changes/problems around that time, but I sincerely doubt the world will end. Side: No
I hope not. I would hate it if I missed Christmas because of some stupid end of the world thing. If it's going to end it should end after the holidays. Preferably before school starts again. I would hate it if I wasted my time doing homework and then before I got a chance to hand it in and have it graded the world would end. That would just suck big time. Side: No

The calendar on my PC only goes to 2099. Does that mean the world will end in 2099? No, of course not. It simply means that someone decided that they should probably stop somewhere, and arbitrarily chose 2099. The very same way that the Mayans chose 2012 (or not, seeing as it's actually a misinterpretation of the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar). Side: No
