We wouldn't even be talking about it if it wasn't for religions. A PERSON should be judged on what they are, not what they have between their legs! There are a LOT of women out there that are a LOT smarter than I am and they deserve equality! They do NOT deserve the problem of proving themselves over and over and STILL not getting fair treatment. The Bible is wrong, the Quran is wrong, conservatives (many of them) are wrong ... am I right??? :-) Side: Why it's good
What else is there that classes women as lower forms of intelligence or incapable of the respect a man gets other than religion? Has for centuries, thanks to the religious documents that taught woman was made FROM man, therefore she is a lesser being. One part the "Gods word" writers left out of the Bible was the story of Lilith, made from the same mud puddle as Adam so she was equal. Story goes, Adam said "Lie beneath me woman." She told him to "pound sand" (or something to that effect). Adam went crying to God and he "created another woman" out of his rib so he could procreate and Lilith went off on her own. Later the "writers" demonized her as an example, should other women get the idea they weren't about to obey the man....and feminism was born! That was on one of those TV shows about what was left out of the Emperors (Constantine's) Bible. It's at LEAST as believable as the accepted story, isn't it? Here's mud in your eye! I've been here nearly 80 years! When, exactly, was it "about legit equality"??? I must've missed that! When did they get equal pay for equal work?? When did they get equal "benefit of doubt" in rape cases?? How many years was it before they got the right to vote?? How many female Priests do you see in some religions?? How many do you see wearing "normal clothing" in others?? "Legit equality?? When and where?? Side: Why it's good
The very notion of racism and feminism divides people. That's why you are saying women and African Americans shouldn't complain when they are decidedly getting the short end of the stick?? More women are "shorted their equal rights, more African Americans are shorted their equal rights BY FAR over white MEN. You can't argue that! (I'm sure you'll try, maybe with some "facts" from youtube), but as a famous conservative once said: " You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of AVOIDING reality." Ayn Rand. Your arguing that there is a negative tword women and African Americans : ) guess what I fucking agree bud. You did not read or understand what I am saying, I am saying feminism is women working for women equal rights. I am saying that is not needed what is needed is one group going for all equal rights on all platforms not one. Having only women work for women builds a feeling superiority in ones self if you work with the opposite side for something together you see everyone as equal. Side: Why it's good
