I find myself being more into animal rights just because of this girl... and being more against materialism as well. I mean, I know it's all stupid, but the thought of her makes me seem to think "maybe those hippies are right about some things".
Worse part is we can't be together at the moment...
Although, I will keep it out that it's not true love. Just that initial attraction love... type thing.

I think I understand what you're saying. Attraction/love/whatever for a person can cause you to want to be the person who they will love back. Sometimes that involves changing your views...that said, I don't think you SHOULD change your views just to please someone(if that's even what you're saying), but I do understand that it happens. I completely understand what you are saying. If the girl I liked was a liberal I wouldn't completely turn liberal over night, but I would definitely back off from my conservative views, and stop talking about politics. I would eventually start moving more and more towards the left. It's a scary thought. 1

I'll skip the 1984 questions and go by the answers you've received thus far! It looks like you're in the first stages of love all right. If this girl is making you re-think your own values I think it may just be something serious. It's too bad you can't be together right now but it looks like you may just be able to arrange something in the future.
