Should atheists be allowed in to heaven?
Well most of you know I'm an atheist anyway so this debate doesn't mean much to me, but there are many religious people out there who have differing views so.. lets here 'em!

Not Christ's heavens but any place where good people go, anyone that actually is good should be allowed. The reason I say not Christ's heaven is for two main reasons. 1. They have rules to get there, that non Christians don't follow. One of those rules is well believing in Christ. 2. We'd be shunned and outcast, no thanks. Side: Yepp

The assumption here is one of the various Judeo-Christian religions is magically somehow correct right? Which means there would be a vengeful god who judges based on belief instead of action and who allows all sorts of evils to befall innocent small mortals of all sorts. In which case I'd not want to be close to this god. Naturally depending on the severity of not being in heaven, it may be difficult to withstand the evil tortures this tyrant god has devised, but if within reason, I'd choose not to go. Side: Nope
Just think, heaven would be filled with all the people you slam your door too, all the people that piss you off on the TV with their preachingness, all the well mannered well behaved people. Hell, most of the best musicians, greatest thinkers, philosophers, writers, all atheists all gonna go to hell. You could meet some pretty influential people.
