What will be the ruling on the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin trial?
This case has been dragged on for a very long time. In fact, most people have probably forgotten about it. Opening statements are set to take place on Monday, June 24th.
In any case, judging from everything that has occurred so far, what does everyone think the end result will be? Why?

It just looks like there really is going to be no solid evidence with which to convict Zimmerman. Although I hope they've attempted to find a non-racially biased jury, because this is the kind of case where it's important to have an open-minded jury without any predetermined presumptions. Side: Zimmerman innocent
So far I haven't even seen justification to take him to trial, let alone convict him. The only witnesses claiming Zim did anything are attention hungry nut jobs like Mary Cutcher. Who btw has admitted she didn't actually see ANY of the incident. Everything she tells is just her assumption of what happened... not what she actually witnessed. Anyway, the prosecution is going to have to come up with something a LOT better if they want a conviction. So far it just looks like a trial being brought forward for political reasons.
