When 2 nationalities marry, do the kids use the father's or the mother's nationality 1st?

For example, if a Mexican man marries a Hawaiian woman, are the children Hawexican or Mexawaiian?

I just got back from Hawaii and saw a mixed race couple. So then I thought, what would their children be called? ;)

... They aren't dogs.

This might be one of the more offensive of your debates, and as a CD member with a relatively close proximity to you in the real world... I'd say you should invest in some protection.

Although this could be considered racial profiling, he does have a point as in the aspect of birth certificate marking. Though this should be a decision made between the parents of the child. Whichever nationality they choose to be the primary, or they could just have the races listed in no particular order.

e.g.

Race: Hawaiian

Mexican

How would you know? You didnt see them.

Maybe it really was a cross between a bulldog and a shitzu - (a bullshit.)...So in conclusion, until you let them smell your crotch in person, don't judge.

If the child was born in Hawaii they would be considered Hawaiian. If in Mexico then Mexican. Your place of birth is your place of birth and that cannot be changed. In this case they would technically be American since Hawaii is a state. Heritage would name them American-Mexican and no bastardization of a place of birth can make this funny even if you think it does.

Mexawaiin. :D It sounds fun. But they can call themselves whatever they want, really.
