Will the USA or China be the 21st Century Superpower Pd #6

US has a very great economy of people who work and try their hardest to help the government. Since the Cold War, America has been growing in money and has about 20,603,033,000 just because of marketing and trade from other countries. When 9/11 happened people were scared about going on planes just because of the thought of the plane getting hijacked and crashed into people made less people pay less money. But in WW2 everyone was scared in America that the U.S. would be taken over by the Nazi’s and 80 million people died. America was able to come back from these disasters and learn how to stop them also growing money in the process. The U.S. also came back from the great depression that destroyed families after thathappenedd money started going up higher and higher until today. The people ofAmericaa trust in their government to keep them safe from threats. The U.S. military has about 1,429,995 enlisted soldiers, 342,000 army national guard, 198,000 army reserve, 38,900 Marine corps. 800 bases are in the us and are mostly located in San Diego,California. The U.S. has enough money to buy 6,800 nuclear weapons load them into a bomber and send them to China also the U.S. can launch a missile all the way to China capital Beijing. The U.S. will not stop for anything that gets in their way like troops, jets, tanks, and artillery. This Thursday, the United States Army will receive a new artillery vehicle, the M109A7 PIM or Paladin Integrated Management, a 155mm self-propelled howitzer. This weapon of destruction looks like a regular M109A but it has a turret and a guidance system in it.also they could easily take over a country in the matter of weeks due to their navy, vehicle, andair forcee power. the U.S. has 60 allies. The political power in the U.S. is democracy, people actually have rights to speak what they believe in unlike china where people don't have rights and have to follow communism. Political power is the reason why the United States of America is soon to be the top country in the world while china is not even close to whatAmericaa has to offer. It would be easy for the U.S. to change China from communism to Democracy Because of their political power to change governments easily without having to use force. The United States are growing in technology then China we have already made the internet, cookies, lights, microwaves before China can make these. The U.S. beats china in militaryeconomicss and political power.

I dissagree because U.S.A may be a great country because we are non-communist and can speak and say what we wish it still may need more control we have no one to tell us to stop and tell us to be under control. THis may be a good thing but for govment they want as much control as possable.

The US will still be the world the superpower for years to come.

Are Economy is by far better then thiers. Are GDP (income per person) is 57 406.79 dollars. Chinas economy is far behind at 8 123. 18 US dollars GDP. Are economy is expected to rise. Chinas economy is not expected to rise as much as ares. http://www.heritage.org/report/the-united-states-vs-china-which-economy-bigger-which-better

Are poitical power is much greater. The US has many more allies than China and are allies have more power than china. China has not really helped other people outside of there country witch stops of countrys from being there allie. The US has helped out other countrys witch will help us be a superpower.

The chinases military is better than the US. They have about 22 850 000 active units witch is alot more than the US. They military is also well equiped and there military is well trained. The a well funded military too.

This even dence shows that in the future the US will be the world superpower

U.S.A will be the Superpower in the future. Even though, China beats the U.S in Economy, We have a more structurally sound Government and Military. China’s economy is booming China has way less debt than the U.S. China is up 6.9% in the second quarter while the U.S has not had a strong growth since 2009.

While China is doing well economy wise the U.S has a more sophisticated Military strength. The United States military budget is 554.2 Billion while China’s is 215 Billion. The U.S has 7,200 nuclear weapons, and China has 260. Even though China has more men and women in there military they do not have all sophisticated machinery and technology that the U.S has. China has not even been involved in a war since 1979. It may seem like a good thing, but because the U.S is in more wars they have updated technology and more influence around the globe. The U.S also has more alliinfluencesnce

The U.S also has a better Government and Politics. In 1949 China declared that they were Communists. Since then, they claim to have changed, certain public figures in China like Ai Wei Wei have exposed China for corruption. People have been arrested for having opinions. 16 people in 2016 were arrested and beaten without learners in China. The U.S's government is stable and has fair laws and purposes. Although the U.S is not perfect they have a far better way of dealing with international politics and they have more allies then China does. Also the U.S is more open to change. Free speech and Free press is not a privilege like it is in China.

Although neither country is perfect the U.S.A is ahead military-wise and government-wise. China may have a better economy, but the U.S is ahead in more ways.

For both external and public debt, China has far less than the U.S. While the debt greatly increases in the U.S., China’s debt will most likely continue to steadily and slightly increase. China’s industrial production growth rate, including manufacturing, mining, and construction, was higher than the U. S.’s as of 2013 at 7.6% compared to 2.5%. While China’s economic stability is at 6.9%, the U.S. hasn’t had any strong growth since the official end of the Great Recession in June 2009. Because the United States' ratio of personal debt and personal consumption, which is responsible for about 70% of U.S. economic growth, don’t equal, the struggles increase. Since China’s public debt percentage of the GDP is lower and its general debt is a lot lower the U.S. debt China wins this category.

Compared to China, the U.S. military has more weapons and machinery. Not only does the U.S. have many nuclear weapons, it also has the highest number of fighter aircraft at around 3,000 including the most powerful aircraft. China, however, also has nuclear power, including many intercontinental ballistic missiles in its stock. Not only does the U.S. have more sophisticated technology, but it also has some of the most active personnel. However, China by far has the largest military of any country and outnumbers the U.S. heavily with its service men and women.

Even though China is close to the U.S. in many categories, the U.S. is still thought to be the most politically influential country in the world with China ranked second or third. Not only does the U.S. have the largest economy in the world, it has the strongest, most well-equipped military. The United States is also one of the strongest leaders at NATO and plays a significant role at the World Bank. The U.S. is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and has developed strong relationships with its many allies. China, has less political influence than the U.S. for several reasons. Although it has a large economy, it is not as large as the U.S.’s. It’s military is not as well equipped. Although it is also a member of the UN Security Council, it does not play as big a role in the World Bank. And although China has a cultural influence on its Asian Neighbors, its influence is not nearly as great as the huge outpouring of TV, movies, and music from the U.S. that floods the global market.

The U. S., rather than China, has the military strength, economic strength, technological superiority, cultural dominance, and diplomacy required of a superpower country. Most of these things take years of careful growth and development. It will take strong leadership to preserve and protect the power the U.S. has developed. It must continue to make wise decisions about its economy, preserve its military strength, invest in technology, and work hard to maintain its relationships with its allies. China, with a history of severe human rights abuses, may have difficulty developing greater influence on the global stage, despite its strong economy and military. The United States, long a global power, will continue to lead the world as a superpower for many years to come.

The U.S will be the future superpower because the U.S has the strongest military in the world with Total Aircraft Strength of

13,762. Sure their budget might be -360,700,000,000 back in 2013, but now its 4.094 trillion dollars, which is a big increase. And Since 1855 the United States Congress has been dominated by a two party system comprised on one side by the Democratic Party and the Republican Party on the other, which make the U.S political power stronger than china's. These three reasons show why the United States is going to be the next world power.

For economy USA would win for two points. The first thing is that their GDP is 19.3 trillion dollars and that is a lot of money and it is more than china has lower number of GDP than USA. Another thing is that They have many buildings.

For military America would win because we have been sent around the world to help allies in battle. Another reason is that the USA has a total of 1.4 million people in the army. THis is why america would win the military.

On the political side america will win for two reasons. one reason is that we have so many allies to help us in combat. the second reason is that we influence a number of 22 states outside america that we help. This is why america would win political.

The US has a better military because they have 7,200 warheads while China has 260 warheads. Also, USA has 554.2 billion dollars in the military budget, but China has 215 billion dollars.

The US has a better government because they have an elected government but China is ruled by the Chinese Communist Party. Also, there were an estimated 275,600 deaths attributable to outdoor air pollution in 2002 in China compared with 41,200 in the US.

While I agree that the USA is CURRENTLY far more powerful, funded, and efficient, China may very well top them in the future. China's military power has rises exponentially over the past decade. Also, America continues to go through with budget cuts while China's military has been given for and more funding. In addition to this, China's military is said to be the world's fastest growing and advancing one in the world.

I do not agree with the military part because it does not show how the military is better. China has much more manpower and an overwhelmingly amount of advanced weapons coming out in the future for them to literally disintegrate people. China, in maybe 10 plus years, will be much more advanced than the USA

Side: China

Economy- Although China's population outnumbers the US's by more than 700 million, the US economy is still the strongest. For all the money that China is making, only a little of it is actually going to its citizens, probably since all of the communist country's companies are government owned. In fact, even though China's GDP is growing at a faster rate than ours, their GDP per capita, which is the total GDP divided by the number of people in the country, is a mere $16,676, while the US's is $59,609. Additionally, America's currency is used all around the world and is used in 80% of all transactions worldwide, more than any other currency, even the euro, which is the national currency of 19 different countries.

Military- Even though the Chinese military outnumbers the US's by about 1 million active personnel, the US still remains the most powerful military with a budget of 597 billion dollars, compared to China's 215.7 billion dollars. This allows us to have the most advanced weapons and machinery available, so it is no surprise that we dominate in almost all areas of military. To add on to that, the US has more experience with war today, while China hasn't fought in a war since 1979, making us much more experienced. We also have a large number of allies that can help US (and are helping us) throughout the world. that can step in if America is ever in trouble.

Political Power- One of the key traits of superpowers are being able to influence the world around you. The US has the most influence worldwide that helps it remain very powerful. For example, in 2012 the US gave 32.7 billion dollars out to other countries in need. If America wants to do something, those countries that experienced the generosity of the US will most likely side with it. Also, we are one of the most popular places to immigrate to. In fact, in 2000, more than 500,000 immigrants came to the US from China alone. We also have an effective government and strong defense system that is appealing to many foreigners.

Economy winner: China

Many things that people use today come from China. They have 90% of all of the world's natural resources and they export around 2,210 billion dollars annually (about twice as much as the U.S.). They have also been the fastest growing country in GDP for 30 consecutive years with 6.9% in 2015. Also, China's 4 trillion dollar debt is about 4.5 times less than the U.S.'s debt (about 18 trillion, which is the largest in the world). The U.S. debt has increased by at least $1 trillion a year since 2007, while Ben Bernanke (a former fed chairman) said that China still has room to grow their national debt.

Military winner: China

China has 385,821,100 people in the military (larger than the normal population of the United States) compared to the USA's 74,270,040. China has the largest ground force in the world. China creates firearms for the British, the French, and Germans. They are the 3rd largest exporter of major arms. China is also starting to advance their weapons with foreign countries. For example, they are testing microwave weapons, particle-beam weapons, and electromatic pulse weapons.

Political influence winner: The United States of America

The U.S. has many political and cultural influences. We have the oldest and longest working constitution in the world. Also accompanied by strong institutions and strong laws. And we have 45 million foreign people living in America (4 times the second highest country). This was influential to other countries because we started many things that foreign governments use today, and we encouraged many countries to take in immigrants. The U.S. also acts as an aid to many countries around the world. The U.S. gave out 32.7 billion dollars to financial assistance in foreign countries, 10,552 million dollars to foreign defenses, and we also gave out 2,685 million dollars to health and human services to foreign countries.

Economy: Although China has a bigger population, the United States has more percent of the population in poverty than China. That is because China is a communist country so they share everything. Also, the United States has a bigger GDP than China but the U.S. still owes trillions of dollars. They owe more than they have.

Military: While America's military is good, China has more people in their military. There are 2,285,000 soldiers in the military in China. That is good because there are many people to help defend their country. U.S.A. has 1,429,995soldiers in the military. How many people that are in China’s military is the population of the United States so they could quickly overpower us. China’s military is also the fastest growing military power in the whole world with great global power and projection capabilities. The United States of America has great capabilities of defense and they have a lot of high power technology.

Political: The United States of America has the oldest working constitution in the world. It has very strong institutions as well. Also the U.S. gave out $32.7 billion dollars to other countries. This will help countries that are need of money and that need help economically.

Side: China

While the USA has a comparably stable economy, China outranks us financially. It has the thirteenth highest national debt, but the USA takes the first place (or rather last) for debt. China owes $4.3 trillion externally, and America owes $18.96 trillion. This is almost five times China's debt. Also, China's unemployment rate is far less. While the USA's poverty rate is currently less than China's, it has risen substantially over the past decade. China's poverty rate, on the other hand, has fallen, and in the future, it may outrank America.

In addition to its economy, China's military future looks brighter than the USA's. The United States has a considerably smaller military, with 80 million available service members to compare to China's 400 million. Despite this, America is considered to be the world's strongest military. This praise may not last into the future, however. Due to recent budget cuts and an increase in supply demands, the USA could possibly lose its first place ranking. China's military, on the contrary, has gained power, grown in number, and advanced technologically. If it continues this growth, it is on the path to become first in the world.

While China tops the USA in the previous two category, it is outranked when it comes to international influence. According to recent totals, 45 million people (14.9% of the population) in America are immigrants from foreign countries. This means that people from around the world see the USA as a good place that provides immigrants with a chance to prosper. Also, America is a capitalist country, and so are most countries globally. China, however, is communist, so it is part of the unfavorable side in most of the world's governments, and thus has less influence over these countries. In addition to these, the USA is one of the top donators to foreign countries, having donated $32.7 billion to help developing countries in need.

China has a lot to offer in the future economy because of First it’s population is very high up, about 1,409,517,397 in just 2017. Which is a lot of people. Though some may argue manpower is not important if you have a country with fewer people that you might be at risk for things like MIlitary. In the Usa 2017 we have about 325,536,595. This also means that we $4.094 trillion dollars and that is a lot to share for out the country as in work, streets, schools, and so much more but also you have to compare the numbers with China’s. China’s country has 13.3 trillion yuan but in hour money it would be 2.02 trillion dollars which is less in usa but still is worth a lot in their currency.

171 billion dollars is a lot of money. China spent 171 billion dollars on just military. That is a lot of money and they have 7,054,000 people is their military. The usa spent almost 3 times as much money for about 1,429,995 and the U.S. spent $618 billion dollars on just military and china has a lot more people which means more man power. Sure Us may have good weapons but china has a lot of money and a lot of people.

Political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs. Most of the time this is frowned upon. A lot of people don’t like this but when you grow up in this society it may not be all that bad. Although this may be a flaw of China it keeps everything under control which is a great power to have even thought that is a bad power it does control everything. Capitalism is a great thing in most societies because it gives you choices and you can make your own and keep the money you make.

This maybe a faw but it keeps everything under control and keeps the government of China in power.

China has a really good military but some of the weapons and not updated. They have about 2.3 million active members in the military.Compared to the USA china’s military is a lot stronger and so many more members in the chinese military.

I think it is hard to tell which country will be the future superpower of the world. It depends on what the world needs at the time. If the world needs a strong military of 2,300,000 men, or a economy that is planed to have a GDP growth of 23 trillion dollars then China will be the future superpower. If the world needs someone who is there Allie like America instead of a powerful leader then America, who is allies with all countries except Bhutan, Iran, North Korea and Syria, will be the future superpower. Judging from the way the world is projecting now, we will most likely rely more on military and money, so I have deduced that China will be the future superpower.
